  1. Wait a second, why is your clutch push-rod threaded? That rod should not be threaded. It looks like someone ghetto-rigged some shit in there. Its supposed to go... Clutch accuator arm, SOLID push-rod, push-rod ball, then your clutch adjustment or pancake bearing. Or is the threaded thing in the picture your adjustment bolt?
  2. Clutch accuator rod friction welded itself together. It happens when you hold your clutch while moving for extended periods of time. Easiest fix is to get a pancake bearing and when you re-install everything put lots of grease on everything from the accuator arm to the ball to the rod to the pancake bearing. Sometimes you can get the old broken one out without splitting the cases, but worse case scenario, spit them and get the broke stuff out. If you do have to split them its a good time to replace transmission bearings and check everything out. - Jared
  3. I'd take that chariot outboard bearing support...
  4. I already did. Your turn...
  5. Looks like detonation and lean to me. I would have told the raptor guy that's what he gets for having a 4-choke and let him push-start his junk next time. lol
  6. You might have some keihin caps on mikuni carbs. If you have a place you can get the correct caps for $10, why are you asking questions? Go order the right stuff....
  7. Your craigslist posting has expired.
  8. Bingo!
  9. The helical cut gear with the TZ bearing is your problem. If you had chosen the correct bearing for your primary gear application, you wouldn't have this problem. With a needle style bearing like the TZ bearing you need to run straight-cut gears. If you can't afford the straight-cut gears, go to max-load bearings on your crank.
  10. If all the basic stuff checks out (choke tube, fuel supply, spark, compression check, etc) then start swapping parts side to side 1 at a time and see if the problem jumps to the other cylinder. Did you do a leak-down test?
  11. You may have a lean condition on top of the over-heating. Why risk further damage for one last ride? Take the time and tear it down and fix the problem the right way. Don't shoot yourself in the foot just for one ride. Post up pics of your pistons and plugs and we can give you more help.
  12. That's what we like to call epic fail.
  13. I just mix old used motor oil from my diesel truck with my gas for the banshee.
  14. I get all my gaskets from www.cascadeinnovations.net. Anything they don't have I'd call Kevin @ HJR. He's great to deal with.
  15. BR9ES plugs are a good start until you get it jetted correctly. Post up pics of your plugs. Good pics. Check out all of the other threads about jetting an alky or methanol setup.
  16. Methanol plugs won't show much color. You are looking for discoloration on the ring around the electrode and discoloration on the strap. You should do some research and look for other pics before you just swap over to methanol and give it hell... Your running the wrong plugs for starters... Is your gas cap modded? Got a pingel? Billet bowls? Mains? Dumps? Needles? Pilots? Elevation? Outside air temps? Pickup coil gap? plug gap? are your domes cut specifically for methanol or are they just off-the-shelf domes? Need more details on engine setup...
  17. On most pipes its the diameter of the stinger. I know a couple companies change the shape, length and diameter of the expansion tube as well as the stinger.
  18. If you run a TZ bearing you should step up to straight-cut gears. The helical cut gears will destroy the TZ bearing over time by pulling the needles sideways in their race. if you want a good heavy duty crank and want to keep the stock helical cut gears go with maxload bearings on both ends. For what you're building and the type of riding you're going to be doing, I would just get the normal 4mil crank with the stock style bearings.
  19. They look like a set of Power-Pro's I used to have a few years ago. They are good pipes.
  20. What the fuck was that? I know its not English you're trying to speak...
  21. Those don't look like CPI's. Here's OOF CPI's... Just trying to save you the problems with mis-represented sales. If someone buys them expecting CPI pipes, they are going to be pretty unhappy if they aren't actually CPI's.
