  1. A clymer manual is a great thing. Go get one. Could be a shift fork, shift star, shift star cam, shift drum, etc etc etc. Again, a clymer manual would help you a lot. Probably pull the clutch cover off and check that everything in there matches what the clymer says, if so, then its time to split the cases.

  6. I agree. My YFZ is faster off the line than my Banshee on our gravel roads, only for a gear though. Once I hit third or fourth I will blast past it. On the sand my shee will eat my YFZ alive.

  8. Time for the service manual. Yes you need to adjust the valves. If you don't it will slowly screw over your new bike. Just do the service. They have services like that scheduled for a reason don't you think? It's not hard to to at home if you have the manual andsome good tools and a clean shop and know what you are doing.

  11. I would go with the Reeds. Will give you a little better throttle response. Do the head later when you have some more mods. That's just me though. Everyone is different. I went with reeds first, then head.

  22. Just call up your local spring manufacturer and give them the specs for your vehicle, and how much lift you are going for. They could make you a nice custom set of whatever kinda springs you need for the lift.
