  1. Banshee Santa already treated me very well.
  2. Where is your head bucket?
  3. I have had the same problem as loco. On my warrior, and my banshee. The warrior bumper would shear all 4 and the banshee would do the top two. You could put a grade 8 bolt in there, but then you risk it not shearing off and bending the frame. In my case the force it took to bend the bumper and finially shear the bolt took up most of the impact and only scratched the plastic.
  4. I am looking for 33-35mm PWK's. Had a bid on some on ebay and lost them by like $2 sicne I was on the road and couldn't riase my bid. I am looking for an online store to buy them from. Where did you all get yours and for how much? Jeff (FAST) would you PM me how much you sell them for? Thanks - Jared
  5. Good luck man. I have been trying to get rid of mine for MONTHS now. LOL It is a good tool bench in the shop. I don't have much use for it other than that. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=53370&hl=ttr-
  6. Pics? Location?
  7. Check Ebay, I saw a ton of stock cylinders on there today.
  8. Very nice looking. Bump.
  9. God damn I love this place. Every time I see a post like this one with all the numbers and straiight-forward instructions it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
  10. There you go right there. I had a set of little blue fog lights on my 87 back in the day, but I had them ghetto-rigged to get them to work. I don't really know what I did to this day. The wiring on that old thing was pretty scary. Kind of glad I don't have it around the garage any more. Good luck with your light hook-up. I'm sure if you run into some serious problems we can help you out.
  11. That is Canadian, as he stated above.
  12. I don't think that will work because the voltage comming to those wires is AC and the lights you are hooking up are DC. I haven't tried so I don't really know. Give it a shot and see what happens.
  13. I am amazed it didn't crack your pistons or break them. At least you caught it before everything went to hell. You should check your crank bearings and see if they are up to spec. With the pistons hitting the head I would think it would add a lot of stress over time to your crank.
  14. Did you get 35watt lights? If they are bigger than that then you will be burnin up your stator. You can wire a set of DC lights into the AC wiring on the shee and get them to work, but it will get rid of the high and low beam option unless you go to a battery setup, which some people on here have done and could help you with. You would be better off to jump on ebay and get a set of banshee lights and save yourself the headache.
  15. Back to the original question about the sound... You can download any of my video clips (BigRed350x) if you want to hear T5's. If you ran loco's video, then mine, it would give you a good idea of the two compared. If you download the video of me racing the Cub banshee at the killpecker dunes you would even get some CPI sound in there to compare to as well. Here are links to my vids that have pretty good sound. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=52651&hl= http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=52586&hl= CPI & T5's in this one... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=53072&hl= - Jared
  16. OMG don't use water to figure it out. That will rust your cylinder walls. Even if you can't see the rust, as soon as water contacts that non-finished metal it will begin the rusting process. Use gas or alcohol if you are going to do that. You could even use two stroke oil. Just make sure your piston is at TDC before you go squirting anything in there or you will be pretty unhappy. lol Just buy a compression tester.
  17. I am building one by this summer and I will video myself trying some trails with it for everyone to see. Should be some funny shit.
  18. Some WD-40 in there and tap it with a rubber mallet. I had one stuck once and that got it off. They can be on there real good sometimes. Make sure you have grease in there where the little point on the puller spins.
  19. T5's are the way to go. The T6's aren't the greatest. I have the T5's and Gorr port and love it. I will be going to a cub setup this summer though, can't wait!!
  20. If you are not going to hook up the belt drive, you could hook the rear to the crank on the engine with a chain/sprocket setup. I'm not sure the belt drive would fit in the shee frame without some huge mods. If you are using the belt drive, you could run it pretty much with just a chain and sprocket aligned right, if you can get it to fit. Most people that try this end up using a polaris scrabler or similar, sicne they are setup for the belt drive already, just putting a bigger engine in there.
  21. a lot of it goes to gearing too. If you are geared low, it will tend to pull the front up more. If you are tall, you could get away with a shorter swingarm and not much wheelie. Also have to think about wheel spin, traction, gearing, speed, etc. I rode a stock stroke cub that had a +4 swinger and it would pull the front up a little bit even in 3rd and 4th gear with 14x39 gearing and 22" paddles. My bike with just the mods in my sig will wheelie a lot if I let it. Even in 4th gear 14x40 gearing if I give it a little tug and some gas, I can pull it up. It's not easy, but I can get it up. In 1st 2nd and 3rd it will come up without any tugging at all, just a slip of the clutch and some gas.... It depends on traction though. on a gravel road, it will just spin like a mofo, if I am on the hay fields just after we irrigate them and the ground is soft, it will grab like crazy. Depends on a lot of stuff.
  22. The gorr port will give you a lot better low-mid range power. I am stepping up to cubs and a 4mm crank. I will have that built by this summer. Can't wait!
  23. Line up the arros on your clutch arm and your case, then adjust the little set screw down on the clutch boss (inside clutch cover), then adjust it up by your bars. The clymer manual goes into detail on how to set it correctly. You can set it to engage anywhere you want really, but you might not get all the movement out of your clutch that you would want. Mine kicks in just before half-way out.
  24. $50 only if we get before and after shots.

    St. A's

Subject says it all. Never been up there this time of year. Is there snow there? How cold does it get? Thinking about taking a weeks vacation and checking out some dunes in that area. Probably head out to Oregon and check those dunes. Any info on St. Anthony's would be appreciated. Is it worth going to this time of year, or wait till summer? Thinking about Feb. or March for the trip.
