I'm gonna be out at killpecker dunes this weekend if anyone is in the rock springs, WY area, they should come by Saturday mid afternoonish time. Look for the black / chrome banshee or the white jeep cherokee.
I could cut that shit in about 3 seconds. Face it, if someone wants you quad, they are going to get it. Best thing I've found is a dog that likes to bark and bite at people. Chain them up to your quad and it will keep most would-be theives away.
Get your clutch all put back together and put the bike on the ground and try it. I think mine did the same thing when I had it jacked up, but when I put it on the ground it didn't spin any more.
First of all, this belongs in the Mods / Repair section, not here. By the sound of it, it's burned, and if it is, it will affect how it operates. Get some pics so we can see it and be sure.
God damn, where all you wyoming boys been all the time? Hit me up some time and we can go for a ride. I got a huge ranch around Laramie area and have a house in rock springs about 20 miles from the killpecker dunes. Lets get some kinda ride going before the snow starts to fly like a mofo out here.
I agree with NYUK. I have a craptor and a warrior and I have less trouble with my banshee's than I do with those two. As long as you take care of them and keep everything adjusted right they are a great bike to have. Just make sure you jetting is right. The Banshee seems to be kinda picky with jetting.
I've never done it, so honestly, I have no idea. I would imagine you would just take your tools and remove some material from the cages to get a little bigger area.
