    they use centrifugal (sp?) force to push little weights out, that put pressure on your clutch. The faster your clutch spins, the harder they push.

    If you are that worried, split the cases and check to be sure. Better safe than sorry man. If I lost a nut like that and was afraid it went into the tranny, I would split the cases that day.

    lol Oooh a 370 banshee. This kid was saying that he could take loco on his gray banshee. Saying a banshee is a 370 doesn't mean much, you can get that with a .080 bore. Not trying to start shit, just sayin.

    Have a TT r-230, totally stock, no problems. Looking to trade or sell. I am looking for Noss Head, V-Force 2, Billet Impeller, bigger carbs. If you have all or some of those and are interested in trade + some cash or are interested in just the bike, let me know.

    I haven't tore into a banshee motor in a few months, but just going from memory, I don't think there is any way for a nut that big to get into the tranny. It's got to be in there somewhere. I also doubt that it could have been ground up to the point where you couldn't find it. If it was, you would see metal all over the place in there.

    Damn dude, if you paid $700 for a new transmission you paid WAY too much. You can get the parts you need to do that for a lot cheaper than that.

    I had a small raditor that I put in the front the frame, above the top a-arm supports. It slanted back at a little less of an angle than the stock radiator. Ran from the water pump to the new rad, out of that one and into the stock one, out of the stock one and into the head. Worked great, but probably the gayest lookign thing ever done to a banshee.

    Sounds like the 502cc stealth kit for the 450. lol. Met some people that had those and the bike looked totally stock, then they would race people.
