K&T is the ONLY place to go if you want a monster TRex. They are the primary seller / port work for the TRex. If you want a TRex done right, go through K&T, no question about it.

I'm with Rippen I would rather spend that much money on a new shee and modding it. For that price you could build a mean 14mm cheetah with fuel injection.

I would try pulling it off and try to thead the stick in from the inside-out and see if it will go. You might have some gummed up threads. Maybe take a screwdriver or thread cleaning tool and try to chase the threads. Those covers can be kinda expensive so exhaust every cheap fix before going with a whole new cover. I've even seen guys drill them out and thread them for a big-ass bolt and just use a bolt for a cap. You don't really need to check the level that often unless you are leaking for some reason, then you should fix that. I change my shit every ride so I always know where its at. - Bigred

I agree, you might and I stress MIGHT be able to keep up in the 1/8th but the quarter you are gonna get your ass handed to you. I had a friend in college with a vtwin I think it was a suzuki or something 750 and it was a fast fucker. Not like R1 or CBR fast, but it would kill a banshee in the quarter. There's just no way you can get geared to where you can get out of the hole decent and go that fast in the 1/4. You might be able to go fast, but if you are geared that way comming out of the hole will suck.

That is true. My buddy's bruteforce has to slow way the fuck down for the whoops at the dunes whereas I actually speed up for them. He rolls over them I skip over the tops of them.

You probably need new bearings if you blew up a piston. I don't care how much you clean, you will always have shit in your bearings. Just spend the little extra and get new bearings, its good to do anyway when you split your cases. I replace mine any time I split mine, even if its only been a year. I'm anal. Hell, get a 4mm stroker while you are in there.

You might be looking at more than that for a cub setup, depends on what all you already have. Might need swinger, new bearings, new clutch basket, blah blah blah.... you always end up needing more than what you think. I would ditch the cylinders on ebay or somewhere and save up and get a cub. they are well worth whatever price you end up paying for all the stuff.

If you have the plastic stock dipstick, chances are its stripped. I've done that to a few of them. If you do have the shitty plastic one, just get a billet one and you will be fine. If you have a billet one and its stripped, get a new one. I've never seen anyone jack the cover. If you did find a magical way to jack the cover, get an over-size tap and die set and just re-thread it. Probably cheaper than getting a new cover.

My buddy has a bruteforce 750 and if you are on solid ground and he gets good traction that thing is pretty damn fast. I don't doubt that there are big 4x4's that are faster than some of the totally stock sport bikes. Put some decent mods on the sport bikes though and its a whole nother story...

I flip mine almost every time I go to walden and it hasn't bent any of that stuff yet. I keep my bar clamps just loose enough when I go there that they will fold over instead of bending. I haven't had to replace any parts after about 5 flips so far. Damn you Walden and your freaking steep runs and trees!

There is a little insert that replaces the restrictive circular plate on the back of the vforce 3's. It changes the back of them from a rectangle with a litlte circle in the middle to a rectangle with another closely sized rectangle in the middle. Dunno if that makes sense or not. The more flow you can get into your engine the better, that's my thinking. That little circular restrictor plate needs to go!

The argument over banning him would be along similar lines as with what happened with brooke. (Brooke, I'm not trying to attack you here, just making a statement, please don't take this the wrong way) She was banned by lee for (i don't know the whole story) for comments she made. People complained and she came back. She might not have a banshee, and gets people all worked up over stuff (including me somtimes) but she is a member here. The same goes for HD, he might not contribute anything banshee related, but look how many members don't really have banshee related material to contribute. You guys continually going back and forth with him doesn't help the site, just like me trying to go back and forth with chemical castration and brooke. Its pointless. They would beat me in a game of wits every time. I gave up and just ignored them. I even went as far as to write my own script that completely removes the HTML information from their posts. They don't bother me any more. You shouldn't let HD bother you any more. The more you reply the more he is going to go right back at you. If you really don't want him here, ignore him and don't reply. Personally he doesn't bother me a single bit. I'm not religious and don't believe in any of that sort of thing. It only seems to bother the religious portion of the group. Brooke wasn't bothering EVERYONE here, so it was difficult to ban her. Same goes for HD, he doesn't bother EVERYONE here so it would be difficult to argue banning hm as well. Just tossing that out there.
