  1. In most cases you will blow up 2nd gear before you break a good chain. The transmission is the weakest point in stock banshees when you go to up the power that high. Run over to planetsand and talk to those guys. Lots of guys with big power engines are running billet transmissions or at least billet 2nd gear.
  2. Cheetah monoblock cylinders use a bigger intake reed system, borrowed from the YZ. The reeds are closer to the size of those found on 250R's. The head on the cheetah is also larger and has better coolant flow IMO. The cheetah also has powervalves. The cheetah also has a bigger bore than that of cubs. Cheetah cubs use the same reeds as stock banshee cylinders, same head, and no powervalves.

  5. You can tell this guy doesn't drag race. I cut mine off for wind resistance, and the fact that the only place I ride is sand dunes. You aren't going to get "muddy" riding in sand, and I like to see where my tires are hitting on stuff sometimes.

  14. The shipping will cost you more than what the parts are worth, you know that right? If someone traded say... plugs it will cost a couple bucks to ship them to you when you could just go buy them for the same price. ::

  16. I agree, porting will drop compression. I would think with 20cc domes you should be higher than 120. even with porting. Did you check cylinder/wall clearances and ring end gap and ring toleraces before you put it in or did you just slap some new stuff in there and expect everything to be hunky-dory?
  17. Haven't decided yet. Have to see how it runs first. I will stick it in my chassis with a longer swingarm to kinda test it out and see how it runs. I might build myself a frame for drag racing.

  19. Traded my YFZ for it. I never ride the damn thing. Its sat in my shed pretty much since I got it. Only took it out a couple times and I just don't really enjoy riding it like I thought I would. So I traded it for something I would like!

LOL k&t polished cubs,v-force2,billet intakes,k&t head,crank works crank,2-5 override tranny,hinson basket,fast racing clutch's with relief bearing,directdrive lock-up with polished k&t lock up cover,pro-design water pump,pro-design stator plate,flywheel,k&t billet stator cover,same side big-bore shears out-frames,41mm pro-series carbs with k&t big bowls set up by k&t. Came with carbs and pipes. went 3.87 in 300' best time.
  22. Its right around 10 miles end to end across KP and I can get from one end to the other and back and will be running on reserve when I get back to the truck.
  23. Just finished working out a deal with a guy on planetsand for my new engine. Hopefully going to go pick it up next weekend or some time that following week. Not going to give away all the goodies just yet, but I will say... its BIG. I'm going to need one hell of a swingarm. Just sharing my excitement. I'm smiling as I write this. Not sure If I will part out the 4mil or keep it for a spare. If I do decide to part it out BHQ will be the first place I will list stuff. I will make that decision after I get the new engine and run it and see how I like it. EDIT: someone ruined my surprise down below, so here it is:
  24. He did up all my shocks and I love them. You can also get to his website through I think it was called "wolfpack racing" or something like that. Do a google search, he has a website. That guy can build some shocks, that's for sure! I love the ones he did for me, and way cheaper than some fancy name brand ones. I swapped a set of elkas onto my bike from a friend and I actually like the way the shocks he built ride way better. - Jared
  25. You will be able to keep up with him no problem with a longer swinger and good paddles. Hell I ride with a guy with a 10mil TRex shearer pipes 41mm carbs and he will jump me out of the hole every time but once we start climbing the hill I will only be maybe 2 or 3 lenghts behind him at the top. Sometimes if he takes off shitty I'm right next to him at the top. Mines a runnin SOB though and I got some little tricks I do to my junk that gives me a little more.
