  1. With all the fancy-ness that's comming out for these 4-strokes any more I bet we will hear more and more stories like this from guys with mild engines. Hell I got a nice 4mil cub and there's a little fugger here in town with a 450 with some junk done to it and he will hang with me. He's only like 90lbs though. I'm like 210.
  2. Sounds like he needs an 18mil billet case alky drag bike. That's good to "putt" around on.
  3. That looks kinda like the one I got from loco, but the one he sold me was way beefier than that one. For that price someone better snatch this thing up quick!
  4. Unbolt it. LOL
  5. Hotrods makes a good crank. Twister also makes a really really nice/expensive one. Definitely go with the 5mm longrod. Reduces stress on lots of parts and helps prolong engine life. - Jared
  6. Nothing beats 10mpg on the 8.1L That's taking it easy, start romping on it and it gets even lower. Lowest yet was 6mpg that's with the 35's playing the mud and snow. Fuck eletric, I'm going ot help make sure the drilling rigs stay in the area. LOL
  7. She is saying "But these are mine" - Jared
  8. Props to a guy doing it himself! I do everything I can before I think about sending something out. I work in a machine shop though so I can do quite a bit of stuff in-house for free. 9. keihin are good carbs. can be a little troublesome to tune sometimes but once they are tuned they are great.
  10. LOL, I would walk by her and tip her over and she would be stuck. Ha Ha Ha Ha
  11. You could build one for less than that with 80plus hp and with "bad ass suspension"
  12. St. Anthony's is probably about the only big dunes that's "close" to you. Not totally sure but I think they are the farthest north out of any of the big dunes.
  13. Interested in a 06 YFZ for trade?
  14. If you know what to do to the carbs you can do it yourself, but you would be better off to just send your carbs out to get switched over. They have to drill out a bunch of shit and put in WAY bigger jets & junk. Too much for me to try and tackle myself. - Jared
  15. What elevation and what octane fuel are you running. The more you advance the higher octane you will want to run. This also goes for compression. Combine the two and you want to have a lot of octane. I run anywhere from 145-175lbs depending on where I'm at, and 9 degrees advanced, sometimes dropped down to 7 degrees. Right now I'm running a fuel we actually make ourselves in the garage. It has an equivalent octane rating of about 130 or so. Give or take a few.

  17. Not necessarily even, cash can go both ways depending on what you have. I can get pics tomarrow after work. (evening time) Its just an 06 yfz with the front plastics trimmed down a little and the baffle removed. Other than that its all totally stock.
  18. I have an 06 YFZ all stock, nothing at all done to it. Wouldn't mind having another banshee in the garage. Let me know what you all have if anyone wants to trade...
  19. You must have gotton the lower model, mine added 23hp.
  20. No girl is worth my shee. The last girl I was hangin out with figured that one out. She told me to sell it and spend more time with her, I told her to go buy me race gas cause I was leaving...
  21. Its well worth $25
  22. Its NOT my big secret dumbass. ...and I'm not going to split my cases again to take some pictures for someone like you after that comment. I have no problem getting pictures for people who need HELP.
  23. They're not really something you can give in equivalents. One is a constant velocity the other isn't.
  24. If they really have an eric gorr woods port you could get more than that for them. Those are kinda gettin a little rare and anyone who has had that port job doesn't like to get rid of those cylinders.
  25. I love how people try and jack secrets from builders from just looking at pictures. There is a lot more to what professional builders do to these things than what a picture can tell you. How about instead of trying to copy some dudes picture you guys go out and try doing it yourself and see what happens. How do you think all the big builders learned. There's very little literature out there on the work these guys do and teaching yourself isn't exactly cake. Why do you think they charge so damn much for the work? I pride myself in doing all my own work, and I've figured out a lot of little shit that makes pretty big differences by just trial and error. Yeah you might fuck some shit up from time to time, but that's part of the learning curve. I had centering springs on my shift fork shafts around the same time the "dunable override" transmission thing came out and that was one of the big things that makes those work. I figured out part of their little trick just saying to myself... I wonder what would happen if I stuck this in there...? Instead of waiting for some magical picture that you all think is going to give you huge performance gains (if you think you can duplicate it) go out and do it yourself and let us know what happens. Besides, I kinda doubt very many people who would try and do something like this based on a picture have the skills needed to weld aluminum, and do it right.
