  1. Give brandon at Wildcard a call, he can answer all your questions and get you pointed in the right direction. - Jared
  2. If you've got a stock stroke I've got a set of dune/drag ported cylinders for sale for $150. 65.5mm bore, all you would need is a set of custom cut domes, and pistons and you'd be ready to go.
  3. Castor 927 w/ methanol. Nothing else smells like it.
  4. At the gas station closest to my ranch premium is $2.65 and E85 is $2.35 I paid $2.60/gal for methanol last time I bought some.
  5. Yes you need to purge if you run E85. You will use almost the same amount of it as you would if you were using methanol. You might as well just run meth.
  6. Bump! Someone needs some nice ported cylinders for cheap!
  7. Yeah, no problem man. We can get your override in and put everything back together in a weekend pretty easy. Bump!
  8. TrippleD's is a good guy to deal with. No worries. I got some parts from him a while back and everything was exactly as he said it was. Bump! Wish I had the money.
  9. Great pics guys. Good lookin stuff. I like that ziggy frame fouledout. Nice!
  10. What are those leaf springs for in the center?
  11. That YFZ was worth a heck of a lot more than the $3500 I was asking for it, I had it priced to sell. I had well over 5k in that bike and it even blue-booked higher than your banshee. There was over 1k just in the head porting and valve job. I just had it priced to sell and... it sold! Best of luck getting cash AND a 4 stroke.
  12. Pics. Nice swinger!
  13. Where's my crossover tube dude? You agreed to trade me a stock crossover tube for a polished boost bottle I had. I sent the boost bottle to you and its been almost a month now and you havne't sent shit back to me. Beware of this guy folks. Hasn't responded to PM's I've sent him about not holding up his side of the trade even though he's logged on a few times now.
  14. How about you send out the crossover tube you promised in trade for the boost bottle I sent you? Its been about a month now since I sent the boost bottle to you and haven't gotton shit back.
  15. I would suggest the same as FASTOYS. The extreme duneable is a nice unit. Haven't heard of any complaints about them yet. If you can't afford the extreme and have access to a good machine shop there are a few things you can do yourself that are cheap. Just involves splitting gears off the trans shafts. Lots of stupid little snap rings and washers... Side-cut your gears, shift star mod, put your shift drum on bearings, roller bearing from cascade (with the stock tension spring). These things will greatly improve your shifting feel and confidence, but won't provide the full-blown clutchless upshifts of the override. - Jared
  16. Hey fouledout, how about some pics of the frame on the bike in your sig? Who did that one?
  17. In my experience the A/S carbs are easier to tune on methanol than normal PWK's. I run the keihins and my buddy with an identical bike prefers the 35.5's. I've never noticed much of a difference between the two when we swap bike to bike. The keihins seem to fit around most pipes better. The Mikuni's seem to put the fuel line too close to the pipes and are a difficult fit around the bigger pipes like CPI's and shearers. I'd keep the keihins.
  18. 21x12x8 9-paddle extreme. That's what I had the best luck with on my +6 swinger dune bike. 4mil gorr port, shearers, 34's methanol, etc. I ran 22x11x8 10 paddle extremes on the same bike and it came out of the hole strong but felt held back on top. The smaller tires with 1 less paddle were pefect for drags and dunes.
  19. These cylinders were cut and ported by the original designer of the twister cylinders, before the design was sold to louie at twister and re-named "Twister Cylinders" Mark did all the design work and test runs before twister had them. These have some "special" touches the other twister cylinders out there don't have. It laid down 152hp to the rear wheels in oregon. Not bad for a 10mil.
  20. Just put a beefy built tranny in that thing so you can keep driving around everywhere in the race tune. lol Then buy my twister.
  21. Thanks man. Bump! Make me some offers. Enclosed trailers for trade?
  22. HaHa, no problem. I know what you're saying.
  23. If you do a lot of big whoops I would leave the cross-tube between the shocks in there. The up-tubes from the upper-a-arm mount to the main frame runners help keep everything up front solid if you compress your shocks a lot. I kept 1 of them and removed the other on my frame, but I still plan to jump with mine and pile into dunes a lot. lol
  24. I got an all factory frame down to 44lbs just cutting out un-needed tubes and gussets for a dune bike. If you put a chromoly subframe on this frame and replaced the tubes I welded in with chromoly tubes it would get down into the 30's.
  25. Nope, it won't. I'm rebuilding the whole thing from the ground up to be sure everything is solid. New trans, new crank bearings, new trans bearings, seals, going to sandblast the cases, new cylinders, new domes, new clutch, shift star mod, roller bearings on the shift drum, billet impeller, new gaskets all around, swapped the carbs over to methanol... It just sucks that I had a shitty platform to start this build on. I suppose one good thing that came of the deal was a perfectly straight, totally stock frame.
