Probably the busiest guy in the tranny business suggests Type F and to change it often. It is really not a good idea to run any oil too long in the tranny. It is not a filtered system. Bewteen the vented crankcase and constantly degrading clutch you don't want to run any oil too long regardless of the quality. To me you are just wasting more money by running the high dollar stuff. I have run the same override for going on 4 seasons now abusing the hell out of it w/Type F w/no problems and a fatter wallet.

Those cylinders would be fine in the right builders hands. That is a really good price, but I would look into how much a set of 71 mill pistons will cost you though. Kind of an odd size. I looked into some 72's for a super cub setup last year and they were almost $150 a piston...

What kind of surface on the drag track? Paddles, pro-wedges, etc.? Lights and all that jazz?

That is way too big of a number. .50 is a half inch. You need to be in .003 to .005 or sixish.

I have both for 55 shipped. Lights work, but no grilles w/them. PM me if interested.

I am suprised she idled real nice. My guess would be you have particles of fuel line clogging your pilots causing it to be lean. But it really should have never idled well....
