  1. Oh yea, it's all good. I missed that one though
  2. On a serious note, I don't nutswing. I give credit where credit is due!
  3. Tims so bad ass he has his own special name for his nutswingers.....NUSTWINGER LOL!
  4. Some of you may know I recently wrecked my new ride and caused a whole lotta damage. This happended on the second weekend i rode this bike since building it so I am scrambling to get it back together to at least get to ride a few times. A few friends helped me out and I got most of what I needed except I needed two new tie rods and a heim joint to finish it back up. I want to do this all quickly so I can get it back together for the 4th of July weekend. I make a few calls and end up hooking up w/Tim from Stellar Machine and Performance. He spends some time on the phone w/me(on Friday and he is in AZ I am in Michigan)and says he has the tie rods and heim and will ship them out right away. He charged me a measly $45 and I get them on Tuesday. Awesome I thought. Well, fast forward to Saturday night, I get everything back together only to realize the swingarm(new this year) is also slightly bent. I was bummed out and told the wife I wasn't going to the dunes for the 4th and figured I need one anyway I better get looking for a swingarm. Nothing I was interested in popped up so I figure I will call Tim and hopefully he can get me one in the next couple of weeks so I can make some races coming up. Tim tells me he happens to be having a sale and can get me one made up right away(this was at 12:00 eastern today). I get a message from Tim at 5:45ish eastern w/a fed ex tracking # stating it is on the way! As many great people as I have dealt with in this industry, I have never seen customer service like this. I now may have to try and change plans w/the wife again and go to the dunes after all. Thanks again Tim, you have won over a life long customer!
  5. Noone? Damn, looks like I am going to miss another Holiday
  6. Up.
  7. Thanks for the heads up... still looking.
  8. Will consider new or used.
  9. 250R hands down. The 450's are badass but for $2000 you will get junk. I have a 250R that I bought for my wife to ride and unless I am duning or drag racing, I prefer to ride the 250r. Still one of the best handling quads ever built and it won't cost you $1000 or more when it blows like a 4 stroke. And a 250R is the only 2-stroke I have ever ridden that you can lug in the lower R's hit the gas and take right off. One of the greatest all round machines built!
  10. I have also found from numerous leakdown tests that the billet intakes are pretty finicky where the rubber and billet meet and seal. W/only the two bolts to tighten the boots down they leak real easy. Real easy to overtighten and cause air leaks. Something to think about....
  11. I would love to join you guys but I have to work both Friday and Saturday. Someone wanted me to send some parts to the race w/someone but it is quite a bit out of your way JD. I will just ship them. If I can talk my boss into letting me off early Friday, I may see you fellas.
  12. Where do you live and what route will you take to get to Ionia JD?
  13. Thanks Jeff. Cheap way to get a jumpstart on building one!

  16. I am trying to make it...I have parts in the mail!
  17. Go to any auto parts store and look for stoppers for automotive shocks. They all sell them, they are just about the right size. I have seen several people use the stock mount and drill two holes and put bolts through it to make sure it does not separate. This is the best pic I have of mine. You can see the rubber mount between the bracket and pipe mount.
