  1. I am not much of a coatings expert, but I would guess that your shipping was from an ill-prpepared surface, trying to cure the PC too fast or at too high of temperature. Of course, we all know that you ride like a maniac. Has anyone looked into having a frame blued (like a gun barrel)? Several of the fancy Baja racers do that to their frames if they don't want to leave them bare.
  2. If you aske the eBay guy you may discover that they are for Roll a-arms even though he doesn't really advertise that.
  3. I understand, I wouldn't sell them either. I think Shark Racing on eBay sells them, but I would really like to trust the people I am buying the bolt from (or atleast try to get a material spec. from them).
  4. I would be down to do that. but I kind of like being able to buy stuff off there from time to time.
  5. If you have it full and it stays full (the radiator) then you're probably fine. I sometimes wander off topic..............this was one of those times.
  6. That's good information. I was mostly just making up numbers off the top of my head. :geek:
  7. Either that or coolant lines...................
  8. Every time I go over there and start an argument with one of the retards over on PS, it seems that I get banned. During their last change over my user account was finally freed up again, but with only like 100 posts to my credit.
  9. It sounds like you are on the right track now. I personally think there are better places to go rather than RDZ. Maybe some of the guys on here will make some suggestions.
  10. I'll try and get something to you tomorrow.
  11. This is a bit off topic, but if you run a set of the new Twister billet cylinders, all of a sudden you coolant recovery system starts working. If you do a search on the topic Bansh-eman and I had a lengthy discussion about cooling sytem theory and the design of the Banshee cooling system. I am not sure what I am going to do with my triple, I have a similair cooling setup to the Twister cylinders in my cylinder block. I ma not sure if I am going to set it up as a constant loss cooling system or a recovering cooling system. :geek:
  12. I am not sure that makes sense? What are you trying to say? :ermm: I would like to say for most folks with stock cylinders in relatively temperate climates, it doesn't matter whether the coolant bottle is there or not as long as you check your coolant level every once in awhile.
  13. I'll see if I can put something together and maybe we can start working on something. What's your emaill address I can send the pictures to when I find them?
  14. This is one of those deals where if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't being do it yourself. I am not trying to be an ass, but that's just the wayt it is. Maybe one of the other guys on here will feel like being more helpful. You may also want to search for this subject on this forum.
  15. Can you take a picture of what you are working on? As previously stated, there are not any vaccum lines on an OEM Banshee.
  16. Two things: 1.) The resevoir is not just a holding tank. The Banshee does have a recovering coolant system by design. It just doesn't work very well, therefore some people can get away with not running a coolant resevoir. 2.) Whoever started the rumor that the Banshee cooling system in a non-recovering systhem would probably have alot of friends over on Planet Sand as it really sounds like something one of those guys would make up.
  17. The radiator cap is on top of the radiator, under your plastic.
  18. Dammit......................your signature pick made me hungry....................again. I need to quickly scroll past your signature picture next time.
  19. Please see my previous post. It appears that you may actually be getting dumber. :ermm:
  20. Other than knowing than knowing the grading nomenclature, you have no idea what what you are talking about. :shoothead:
  21. I withdraw my offer to help you based on that. Good luck figuring it out. They're not as easy to make as they look.
  22. I searched for it and it turned up a bunch of stuff. Do you know what else was in the thread? I am interested in reading about it.
  23. My sent folder doesn't save anything either.
  24. What would a vinyl wrap for the front aand rear plactic from HS Customs or Fullbore cost? What would it cost if I couldn't come up wit hthe design for the vintl myself? Will you intall the wrap on the plastic for me (I have helped apply wraps to reace cars and I am no good at it. It winds up wrinkled or bubbled.)?
  25. Good idea. I have done that before. I am jealous that you mentioned that and not me as it's such a great idea. Cabela's probably has the best value tumbler out there. My Midway unit isn't too shabby either, but it was a bit spendy as I recall. I misss my giant vibratory tumbler from TRD. I could've put three Geo Metros in there if I wanted to. I think it may still be polishing a few pens that dropped in there after falling from behind my ear.
