  2. ok I tend to ride lots of trails and try to get out to the sand pits once in awhile I'm looking to have more bottom end than top end as top speed is not my objective. As for jetting using my knoledge is not an option as I have been away from the scene for over 4 years and have not kept in touch or as I should say updated in tha ''art'' of jetting. I should also mention that I have a boost bottle installed. The bike that I juste bought runs good on idle but I have yet to take it out for a ride as I do not have a hitch on my car for the moment there for trails or sand pits are to far away so I can't say if it runs good on throttle. So I just installed the PT mids and hope to get her out soon.
  3. Here is a short story of the reason behind my question. 4 Years ago I had a pretty bad accident with my shee(2002) it was ok since it decided to ride me after I went over the handle bars. From that point on my brother had assured me he would store it till I was okay .....4 years later it completly dismantaled in his garage . He recently bought an 2003 shee as a truce between the both of us. My question is the 2003 has DG pipes and boyesen rad valves on there it also has a K&N filter with moded air box. Is my paul turner/fat boy2 combo a better pipe and should I change the rad valves out for my VF 2 and if I do the switches should the jetting be modified(I have no clue what jetting is there)? sorry for all the Q&A I've been away from the sceen for a long time
  4. stupid question my brother bought me a seat cover from duncanracing on ebay and I'm not sure if I should take the original seat cover off before installing or juste install over it what do you guys sugest?

  6. after taking all afternoon or most of it to read this thread i've come to notice that most of you have or are old enough to have kids and i bet you that do have some are the first ones to teach your kids not to argue well your all acting like a bunch of kids this sounds about right "go to your rooms and think about what you've all done" sound familiar it should your probably the first ones to say that come on guys genaral discussion thread not general bitching or name calling but thanks anyways pretty boring day at work
  7. thats what i figured a 30 hp gain from just porting but thats what the mech said oh well next summer only the dyno run will tell i'de be happy to get between 10 to 20 hp with the porting but i don't know anything about that so what ever happens happens i've been looking into an after market cdi ignition but they are pretty expensive duncan seems to be making a nice one but don't know anything about them or if they are worth the money
  8. well got back from the shop yesterday and there is not that much else i can do that is in my price range for the moment or that won't void my waranty for more horse power next summer getting a stage 3 porting (don't know if it's drag or........) didn't realy get into it since it's so far away but i should pompe out around 65 to 70 hp when i get it for around 300$ (can) thats a great deal
  9. well about 3 weeks ago i was going for a ride with a buddy went threw some bushes and got surprised by a 4 foot drop off went over the handle bars landed on my stomach the shee flipped and landed wheely style on the back of my legs now i have a torn muscle have the 2 welded brackets from the grab bar took chunks out and had stitches for a while now almost ready i'de say 2 more weeks and i can ride again
  10. brought the shee on the dyno yesterday to my surprise i pulled out 45hp on the first run and 43 on all 5 other runs finally got it jetted and ajusted right on with my delta 2's and ptr mids and a dura blue air filter w/o the lid i'm running now 300 mains 30 pilots and changed the needles (sea level) instead of 270 mains 27 pilot and stock needles all that and the price of the dyno and the mechs time on the bike cost 400$ (canadian) my brother paid 300$ of that for my early christmas gift 75% off deal well since it's been tuned and shit i've got no existing lag of the start and the front end won't stay down (got to love it ) next step is the final dyno testing today with a +4 degre advance on it see if i can get more power and to my big surprise i've had the shee brand new since 2002 and it only lost 10 psi on both cylinders (down to 120) i figure it's pretty good anyways i'm happy i'm sorry for the bad english but i'm triing my best ad sorry if i fucked up some terms or words also

  12. i'm just looking for the top part(the L shaped part with the ball bearing and spring in it) that rotates on the part thats connected to the spline guys at that price i can get a brand new one at the stealership
