  1. Here, read this, and ask me any questions you have. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;hl=seal+head
  2. But he still shouldn't lie about it, because that front end looks pretty stock to me.
  3. I read that, its all pretty self explanatory until you get to numbered American sizes. Good write up though.
  4. 9.1f 8.7r
  5. I realize this and Im calling it a hack job too. Call a pot a pot. Youre putting some parts off another bike that do not belong there, it is by definition a hack. So yours looks good, you only trimmed some metal, how could it not? I have 450 shocks on my shee and the second I broke out the die grinder to make them fit it became a hack job. In the end its still bad factory metal, with the same bad geometry the frame has always had, just with a little better control.
  6. whuchu talkin bout. duz more milimeters he gots the more air he floz. dont matter nothin bout v'loctee, just gas.
  7. Thats because it is a factory front end. Swap it for some Doug Roll parts and Im sure you will get some feedback.
  8. They are easy to service Justin. I have one of mine sitting here on the left side of my desk. It already had the coil off, but the only other tools I needed to get to the valving was a screwdriver to let the nitrogen out of the reservoir and a pick to remove the circlip. Very simple to service.
  9. oh i get it, 216"
  10. I dont mind a squeaky suspension. After riding in a few sand cars, hearing the squeaks of the joints and shocks kinda thrills me. I guess like some like motor sound? I dunno. Ill check with energy though.

    HAHAAH, what the hell?
  12. I would totally go watch a set of heads get 5-axis CNC'd
  13. I can feel it mainly in the brakes. I dont think I could possibly describe it accurately. But when I press on the brakes it feels like there is deflection in the control arms. Especially when I'm at a stop light and let off the brakes, then it feels as though the arms have sprung forward. Plus it has generally bad ride quailty anyways and I thought this may be a way to stop that.
  14. could be, should i change my post to avoid copyright laws? but great way of dating yourself, GEEZR! haha, j/k
  15. I have a 2WD 2005 GMC silverado, and I want to put urethane bushings in the front control arms (or whatever else it takes) because the damn thing just feels sloppy. SO i have a few questions, where can I find some first off? Has anyone done this before? Tell me what you got.

I dont know about those single shear shock mounts on the "punishinator" or whatever. I realize the chassis is for the sand drags only, but im sure there is still some serious forces at work in that joint. Plus Im sure if double shear werent a better design then every OEM in the history of the world wouldnt design parts around such. And I also wouldnt trust aluminum lug nuts.
  17. Agreed, Id look into other bearing suppliers though if you dont want to pay their prices.
  18. if you made the thread bossed why dont you make the bolts? or you could swap to a setup with a nut that goes on, possibly like a stud. you could mod your pegs to accommodate for a beefy shoulder, and man that would be strong. plus you would have all kinds of new material options.
  19. Agreed, the man's not a priest (but if it was a boy and he was a priest that would also be norm). Hes a fabricator/motor builder and a damn fine one at that.
  20. Just because its tall does not mean it has a high centroid. It probably has a self sagging setup combined with proper geometry to deliver a perfectly stable ride.
  21. I have ridden an outlaw 500, but only briefly. Look at one of those to answer you other questions. To me it looks HELLA expensive to mod. Imagine how much a good front end costs, then factor in all that stuff plus new drive shafts. Mucho $$$$$
  22. or dinosaur. haha
  23. So you go around kicking other people's asses? Thats also very mature. Maybe bluetraxx has an opening for you.
  24. I know! Thats the beauty of being over forty; its no longer illegal to date women half your age!
