hey guys, just got a call from jeff saying he was in a bad wreck today. he called from the emergency room and the only details i got was that his bike was wrecked with a twisted frame (dont know whatelse). we met up today at the local riding spot and where riding for a while, im guessing this happened a very short time after i packed up and left. there was a huge ditch probally 5-6 feet deep and 7-8 feet wide with rocks at the bottom, he flew into it in 5th gear, guessing like 50-60MPH. I have no idea what condition he is in, but he was able to call me so it cant be life threatening. just figured i would let you guys know.

got my rear brake line on ebay for $25 with shipping, i had some extra money in my paypal so i figured what the hell. looks alot better than the stock ones. i see the dual line fronts going for like $65 on ebay.

the only thing i ever would want to trade my banshee in for would be a long travel PV 310R. You should just pick up one of these if you want a great handling bike that wont put you to sleep like the 4 strokes will. could get a cheap 250r for like 2 grand and put 3 grand into it before you hit the price one of those yfz's will cost you, stock.

ya, it will be just as fast. It just wont handle as good becasue of the J arms, you can get a kit to convert it to A arms if you wanted to. how much they asking for it?

haha, i used to have a 250ex a long time ago, i rember i would just top it off every other ride. i think it cost like $2 to fill it up back then, now with the banshee its like $9 plus oil, and thats for like 5 hours of riding!!

im having a little problem with my 97 RM 250. its nothing serious, just something weird i want to get rid of. when im riding it, sometimes it will ping like it is about to run out of gas, this is only when im decelerating. and it pings like this when i come to a stop and let it idle. it is weird that this ONLY happens when im in a trail or out riding, when im warming it up it idles perfectly and when i come back from riding, get a drink and cool off for a half hour, it runs and idles perfect. I have never been having this problem before i let it sit for like 2 weeks with the gas on, im thinking it could possibly be some junk in the carb, but it doesnt explain why its fine when im warming it up and when i let it sit for a little. do you think it is not getting gas, thats why it only happens when im ridding? its not the sparkplug, i changed it a couple times and it is always the same. I just want to hear some of your opinions!! thanks!!

took me about 5 mins of pumping to get all my presure back when i installed my braided line. idk, maybe im a damn good pumper

that thing would rev so fast and high, i would love to see that. the sound from it would be insane!! doubt that is happening though, that is ALOT of work.
