  1. the rear shock shouldnt be like that, no matter how you set it. It is probally blown, and the front forks will need new seals. Its a big risk with these 4 strokes, it could just be worn or out of adjustment valves, or the top end could be shot, which isnt rare. These damn 4 strokes are expensive to fix, so watch what you get yourself into, it may cost more than you would expect to fix.
  2. way to ugly up a perfectly good banshee
  3. my 03 is the same way, i opened it one day and was like what the hell?? I had never been in there, and the guy before me bought it new, had it for 3 mounths and didnt do jack to it.
  4. 26mm, i have the same carbs as he is selling, they are real nice and easy to tune,
  5. Damnit, big snow storm coming tomorrow and i have a flat front tire Oh well, i got the 125 just no free T-shirt
  6. new Z400's have an upgraded suspension and carburetor so the suzki has an edge on both the KFX and DVX. I wouldnt be suprised if Kawasaki made their own 450, i doubt they will copy the LT. It will probally have someting simillar to the KXF450 engine, but a little less power and more reliable. Well see eventually, im still keeping my banshee, though!
  7. On my KX 125 frame i am getting a "illusions aquamarine" top coat over a gloss black base. It changes colors from diffrent angles and in diffrent light, its looks like a mix of green, light green, and a little purple. I want it becasue it will look very unique and the KX frame rails are very visable so it will be seen alot, unlike other frames. http://forum.caswellplating.com/photopost/...oto=149&cat=504 click on the pic to enlarge it, you can see it in a little more detail, i plan on getting it done within the month, but it sounds lile you want yours done real soon. I have never seen a frame in that kind of coating so it will be real cool to see.
  8. this bike is in great shape and very fast, i rode it once with everything you see here and that thing hauled ass!!
  9. I actually just sold all of my LT250r parts for $350, fianlly got that stuff outta here!!
  10. Ya, they are defainly revvers. I know my KX 125 must rev out to like 13,000 RPM, it definally goes much higher than my banshee and they stop making power at like 10,000.
  11. sounds like you got your shit together, it shouldnt be to hard to nail this fucktart
  12. googled the name and came up with this number 918-337-0651 Did you get any special discounts or anything, that is a really good price. I will probally send my KX frame to them, shipping will only be like $25 there and back, $175 is still a very good deal for powdercoating.
  13. No kidding, Getting the thumbs up from a reputibe engine builder like jim will get your product more attention than a bunch of promises ever will!!
  14. I doubt they will come apart, but they probally arnt as strong or feel as good as a better set. Plus i think a nice pair of handlebars really sets a bike off.
  15. im getting some Pro taper SE bars for my KX, i will give you my review of them. I think they were only like $60, those tusk bars look kinda crappy, i seen them on a 300ex once. The pro tapers are friggin sexy, i got mine in jet black! Pro taper SE's

  17. haha, theres always that one guy in a crowd that says what everyone is thinking!!
  18. my cousins brother in law (10 years old) has a predator 90, they are pretty good bikes if your into looks and name brands. They look sharp and are name brand, so you will be paying alot more for them than say an eton, but performance will be the same. It hauls me around fine so that says something, it has been very reliable, never had a problem with it excpet dead batteries. That doesnt matter much since it has a kick start backup.
  19. its a shame, that thing would look great with some fullbores
  20. You could take a dremel to the inside of it, shave off the rubber a little at a time. Thats the best i can think of, i had a HELL of a time getting my 28's into the stock airbox boots. I didnt think of shaving them, it took me a couple hours and lots of cursing but i got them in!!
  21. Its to cold for me when my hands go numb within the first minute, other than that i can stand it pretty good. Snow riding is a blast!
  22. new price- $1600 I want this thing outta here!! Runs great, only thing wrong is that first gear problem, which is hardly a problem when the bike warms up. I am told this is common on RM's.
  23. bump
