Ok Im at 150 mains and 45 pilot, clip, second down from top for around 70-80 degree weather. 34mm keihin PWK's, KN, Just installed trinity head w/19cc domes. What should I go up to?? Im hoping to just adjust my main, and clip. ANy input appreciated, thanks

Soi I just installed My Trinityl head with 19cc domes (cut to fit my 66.5 bore) and It is a huge increase over my stock head!! I noticed way better throttle response, far more than I expected. So far, this head looks as good as it performs, Im very happy with the design and the performance, Pics to come soon.

Ill be out at White Lake, Mostly draggin, but also pullin my buddies around on a sled or snowboard too. The screws seem to rip out too easy , so I was thinkin of going with studs to really hook up, and to stay hooked up. Where can I find a tube at??? Hey 420, U at white lake there arent you??????

Looking to get some snowmobile track studs for the ice this winter. This is my first time using this type of stud. Anything special involved?? I was thinking of uding that slime stuff to seal it up good. what would be a good length? Thanks for the input!

Check your needles when you give it a little throttle. I had a clip break one time and it only allowed firing with the choke on (obviously). Check it out, that could be it!

The paint should be fine I havent had any probs with engine paint on my head/cylinders.

OK i made this little scooter(i mean little, probly 10lbs) with a 5 hrs chainsaw motor. Its all lined up and all, the problem is no clutch!! Im tryin to figure out how to ride this thing without one for the time being. Any tips or tricks would be cool. Running 20 mph to keep up with that friggen tire sure isnt working.

With the coolant bottle mod, you run the overflow from the top of the radiator, to the bottom of the bottle. The top hose coming from the bottle comes back and over the top of the frame, right.

I shaved 20 0ver to correct the squish for my 66.5 mm bore. Not too much power diff, but made things work correctly.

Well, i decided to just get a cool head after not being able to find a new .100 over gasket for the stocker. I ordered a stage IV head, getting the domes cut to 66.5mm for the 100 over. I was told to get 20cc domes so i can still run pump gas while increasing compression. Elevation in MI is about 900 feet above seal level., cylenders are ported, and at 66.5mm bore. Should 20 cc be fine for my application?? Thanks Guys!!!

Im in the same boat, shouldnt do this that quickly. You prolly blew your head gasket, check your impeller to see if it is moving with the kickstarter. If so, check out your head gasket.

OK so i think i narrowed my overheat problem to a blown head gasket, the peoblem is that im 100 over, (66.5mm i think). I want to get a cool head, but domes only run to 80 over. Soi need a head gasket until i blow these cylenders and just get a new head and cylenders. Anyone know where to get one??

CDI , that fixed me up in that same situation, try it if u can get one for cheap. Even if its not the problem, they r good to have around.. In my situation, i just fnished my full rebuild of the bike, ran it for a couple hours, go to start it in a trail and nothing, no spark. Replaced my cdi with an old ass one that worked and i havent had a prob since. Test your Stator with an Ohmeter and check the readings . Search for a post on this, youll find the right readings to compare, good luck man...

My buddy gets about 14mpg in his, its power programmed with a 40 series flowmaster. I guess the 8.1's can get the same gas mileage as the 6.0. Hace you heard of the gear bender?? i guess you can get like 25 mpg with it. It adds a few gears to your tranny for a few grand. Worth the investment with gas prices.... My 2 cents... In my 94 2wd 1500 with a 350, im gettin about 21 mpg on the highway. and like 19 in the city, i cant believe it.

could be your head gasket, i think thats why I am overheating. Is your coolant hot, steamy and overflowing??? Head gasket could be the answer. And if you ran it for too long like that, you just keep adding to the heat, seizing the pistons.
