did u try new plugs?? you wouldnt get spark if the stator was bad i believe.

yea, my bike smokes more out of the left pipe, i think becasue thats the side i choke to start it. Once its warm, they even out, and i have no problems.

Im runnin some old school fmnf silencers, flat oval ends. there is a bolt on top and bottom that looks like it holds an end attachment. I cant find anything, anywhere. If n e one can hep me find em, or sell em to me, it would really save me. No dunes without em !!!! thanks, JD

ok im lookin at these 10 paddle sand sharks for a good price. wondering if they r too much for my bike. Im bored .100 over, ported, 34 mm keihins, fatty pipes, head is shaved .20. I think i should be fine, its my first paddle tires purchase. a lil assistamce would be great!!

OK, i was lookin at some prices today and I want some skat traks 10's (straight paddle) but was told they are only good for going stright really, not so much toolin around on the dunes. I was told to get ITP sand stars. What paddle would suit me best for the mods listed on my signature?? I like draggin, but I also like thowin some roost off the top!! thanks OHH yea, will someone hook me up with a signature pic, i think im the only one without one!

most liekly not the coil, yea id check the stator, and e-brake and tors connections if u have it.

OK I finally got back across state to test my shit. To refresh the post, everything was running fine, I ran it, and restarted it about 5 times throghout the day. I go to start it for one more ride, nothing --no spark. So i tested evertyhing and heres what i got. Stator--Ignition coil (Green/red) 16ohms----------good Pickup coil(wht/red, wht/grn) 109ohms----good Lighting coil(blk/yel) .7ohms ----- a little high, does it matter?? Coil-----.6ohms Caps----I got two different readings at diffewrent test times 1st test- 17K ohms 2nd test- 1.5M ohms took apart the kill, cleaned all connections cleaned the ground wire, and ground area, and resinstalled. BTW, im not running a key switch (blk/red wires are tied) So, everything seems pretty good accoriding to the electrical FAQ I prointed,STILL NO SPARK!! Im waiting on a replacement(used but working) CDI this weekend, hopefuly that will do the trick. Let me know if the values I got are wrong, or what else I should check, thanks!!!

DAMN SANDDRAGON, Youre guna have to hook me up in the near future on my 87, check it out. I Never want to get rid of the j-arm setup, that is the first good design i have seen!!!

make sure the multimeter is set on ohms. just in case
