  1. Happy B-Day man
  2. Todd at TCS can do some amazing shit to them for about 1/3 the cost of replacements. He re-springs / re-valves them while retaining the OE body.
  3. Just curious, what did you replaced them with?
  4. ^ Yes..
  5. I should know more about Powder Chroming frames here in the near future....stay tuned.
  6. If you are talking about the front shocks you can compress the spring, slide the bumpstop down towards the top of the shock body and then using a 14mm wrench removbe the top mount, release the tension on the spring and get painting. The rear shock will also require the use of a compressor, compress the spring and slide out the lower spring perch / keeper, release the ternsion on the spring and get to painting. Good luck. Forgot to add, backing the pre-load all the way off first will make the job easier, compress the front springs against the LOWER perch, compress the rear spring against the UPPER perch.
  7. Un-wrapped and installed for photo purposes only, bumper is BRAND NEW and in perfect condition. $75.00 OBO shipped.
  8. If your are considering the Nitto's take a look at the Toyo Open Country A/T ( Nitto and Toyo are sister companies ) BFG's are expensive because BF Goodrich has set pricing for their dealers, Toyo does not. I run the Open Country A/T 295/75/16 10 ply, and odd tire size that only a few companies make. I do a lot of towing and off roadinng and these tires work great, not the best for all out mud performance, but the highway manners are worth it. Just installed my second set on my Dodge, 1st set lasted about 50K with good alignment settings and regular rotation.
  9. The stinger tubes are way different than my Shearer's....Silencers look similar though. Any idea who is making theese? 25% larger than Shearer's ? where? and how did you come up with this percentage? That is a BIG increase...
  10. Well I'll add my $0.02...I used to have a PRM full chassis skid and it worked great, not one complaint, though I didn't need it anymore and sold it. A few weeks ago I decided I needed a full chassis skid afterall. Got a deal on an AC, no comparison. The PRM hands down is a better piece fitment wise, the AC was a bitch to install and make everything line up. Function wise? hard for me to say, just wanted something to help glide over the tops of razorbacks. I don't really abuse the AC nor did I abuse the PRM. I like the front "kick up" portion on the AC better than the PRM but if I had to do it all over again I'd probably buy the PRM. Good luck.
  11. Jim, welcome to the HQ. Call Kevin @ Custom Creations ATV ( located in Highland CA ) tell him Blaine sent you, great guy, great service. (909) 388-2887
  12. Todd makes his own shock bodies. The pictures show chips in the powdercoat on the springs only ( which will not affect the springs performance ), was there other damage? Todd does get very busy and probably took time off for the holiday, try calling him again, he'll probably send you new springs.
  13. FYI that $600 price is high, not much of a hook up.
  14. NO!
  15. Best wishes for your future & congratulations!
