Went out and did some investigating. The first time I adjusted the screw I moved it the wrong way, and adjusted it richer. Doing this made one plug foul, so when I adjusted it the right way, the reason it wouldnt rev was because my left cylinder wasnt firing. Now the problem is trying to find a place that sells the right plugs on a Sunday. My dad also mentioned something about Spitfire spark plugs, do any of you have experience with these?

I just noticed that my left cylinder isnt firing. It started when I adjusted the the carb the first time. Why would adjusting the carb make a cylinder not fire??

Well I dont know, I decided to just go out and ride it, so I rode it around for a few minutes then got off and took a look at the pipe again, and there was no smoke coming out of it. After I got that fixed I decided to mess with the jetting since I was running a little bit rich. I moved the air/fuel screw around a couple times and couldnt find a good spot, so I decided to put it back where it was before I messed with it, and it still is messed up. It wont build rpm's until I go WOT. Why the hell is it still messed up even when I put it back to where it was in the first place? And which way do you screw it to go lean?

I just went out and started the shee and looked down at the pipes, and i could see smoke coming from the right side. I got up under it and looked and it must not be making a good seal or something because the whole engine underneath the exhaust was wet with gas. Its not enough to be dripping on the ground, but enough that the motor is wet. This doesnt make sense because that is the side with both exhaust springs, the left side only has one spring. It has the o-ring and it looks like the pipe is snug right up against the o-ring. Earlier today, I broke an exhaust clamp and the left side head pipe fell off the exhaust manifold, but I dont see how that would make the other side leak. What do you think is causing this? I am SUPPOSED to go riding tomorrow so any help is appriciated. Thanks.

Yep, the clamps are what I need. I am guessing I need to screw the air/fuel screw in for leaner correct?

I have the twist throttle assembly(has grip on it) and braided steel throttle cable for a 2 into 1 carb, I would like to trade that for JUST the thumb throttle cable for a 2 into 1.

Alright, I just got the shee back together last night and was riding it around the house today when I heard a loud "pop" and the engine was loud as hell. Well what happened was those crappy rubber connectors that connect the headpipe to the silencer split in half, causing my pipe to fall off my engine. Now I need some new ones, my question is where can I find ones that will fit on FMF headpipes and Toomey silencers? Will the ones that are always on ebay work? My second question is about the carb, it seems to be running rich in the first 1/4 of the throttle, so should I adjust the air/fuel screw or order some new pilots? If I want to go leaner on the air/fuel screw, do I screw it in or out? Thanks.

If you think it runs good with stock pipes, slap some good aftermarket pipes of your choice on there and have the ride of your life.

Where can I get a thumb throttle cable for a 2 into 1 carb(blaster cable). I bought one from rocky mountain, but its the wrong one. I need one that is used on them after tors has been eliminated. I contacted Trinity and they said Terry Racing is where they get theirs, but they are $45. I bought a new banshee cable and the worthless stock blaster cable both together for less than that. Anybody know where I can find one cheaper?

Have you seen the one where the guy tries to ride off a 10-15 ft tall cliff in the desert and loses control after he lands, crashes into a rock and cuts his armpit open?

With my mods right now I am running borderline of needing to mix race gas. If I advanced timing would I have to start mixing 1/2 racing gas?

I used to get on yahoo chat quite a bit, and you can look at peoples profiles. Well I looked at one and the pic was of a naked chick, so I click on the pic to make it bigger. It took me to a porn site and I got out of it right away because most of that crap is a big trap. I have yahoo mail, and now whenever I get on there to check my mail, it has some fake name under mail, so every time I have to get out of that fake name and type my name in again. So my question is how do I keep it from coming up with the fake email address every time? I got a new address and that didnt work either.

I just bought my banshee a few months ago but I know the axle has been on there longer, and it is still perfect. You will love the difference in handling.

But doesn't the increased length of that manifold make it impossible to fit the airbox in? Oops, I read your sig and thought that you were wanting the trinity intake. If you really want to run the airbox the trinity intake is your only option. I switched from Graydon 2 into 1, went back to duals, and now I am back to the 2 into 1 again, only with a trinity intake this time. Its hard to tell which is better if at all because I also switched pipes at the same time. Even though I cant tell how it performs compared to the graydon, I still prefer the trinity because it looks much better.

All you need is the adapter plate and the rubber boot to use the airbox. You could probably use any type of big rubber hose to connect the airbox to the carb, or you could order it new from trinity. EDIT: Just remembered I have the metal airbox adaptor plate, and I run a clamp on, so if you want it pay me for shipping and you can have it.

OC-SHEE- whens that thing going to be done? I saw pics of all your parts a while ago and everything looked badass.

They were probably landing on that second mound at one time or another, but as you jump it more you want to hit it harder and end up clearing the whole thing. That was my problem until I took a 4x8 peice of plywood and made the landing on that. If I wanted to hit the jump harder, I would hook a chain to the piece of wood and pull it a foot or two farther out with the lawn mower.

I got the cable holder tightened down to where it only need to go another 1/8 of a turn, and the open part was facing towards one of the open ends. Then slide the cable into the holder, give it some slack so its out to the side, and tighten it down all the way, then pull on the cable and it should slide right into place. I just did this a few hours ago so it should work.

I need the rubber boot that connects the intake to the carb for a trinity 2 into 1 carb setup with 35mm carb.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I had a burm that was a few feet away from the property line in my yard, and my old 80 year old neighbor came down and started bitching about it cuz he said I was gunna go flying over the burm, wreck on his property and sue him. He also wanted us to move our trampoline farther away from his property (it was 5 or 6 feet away). Of course we said no, this is our property we will do what we want on it. A week later we got a letter from his lawyer saying if we didnt move the trampoline and knock down the burm he would take us to court. A few months after all that was settled, there he was again, complaining because my raptor was too loud. We kindly told him if there was a certain time or day he didnt want us riding we wouldnt. His response was "thats not good enough". So we told him to f*ck off, we tried to be reasonable but he was just an ass about everything.

I have HSD a-arms on my banshee, and they are made to accept 250r shocks. So I actually have triple rate 250r Elka's on mine.

Same thing happened to me at my local track. This little kid that was probably about 5 or 6 wasnt watching where he was going and ran into me twice. Luckily we were both only going about 5 mph so he didnt fall off the dirtbike. Then the dad comes over and starts bitching at me because I ran into his son who wasnt paying attention to where he was going.
