Not sure if you've seen a pic of the pipes or not, but they are brand new, no discoloring, havent really gotten them dirty yet, only about 10 hrs of total ride time. 225 shipped to seperate the Gnarlies.

+3+1 Longtravel From Janssen
FoxBansheeRacing replied to ridingorhiding's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I am running a long travel front end, with Elka triple rates and I love it. Not really sure how much shock travel you gain though.. -
I have some new Gnarlies I am looking to get rid of. These pipes are brand new, less than 10 hrs with them on bike, no dents, dings, rust, or discoloring. They come with Toomey Silencers that are slightly used, the only thing I could see that may be wrong with them is they may need repacking, and one has a small dent on the underside. Overall this combo creats awesome power and a unique sound. The only reason I am getting rid of them is because the power delivery(power is definitely all there) is just not what I am after on these pipes. I will also consider a trade with cash for a 2 into 1 pipe. This was takin a few days ago.

I have some I may be looking to get rid of. They are brand new, have less than 10 hrs on them. I have Toomey Silencers to go with them. Let me know if your interested.

I would say if your going to be riding somewhere where you need full plastics because of mud, I wouldnt bother getting expensive plastics like Fullbore.
-
One of the main reasons is because I would much rather race in the 250 or 450 class than in the Open.. $4500 is definitely not what I wanted to hear. I have been trying to trade but have had no luck.

I've finally made up my mind, I'm selling the shee. It is a fast quad, but just not right for motocross. Now I need to know how much to ask for it and what set the reserve at if I put it on ebay. Its a 99 sitting in an 01 frame, the motor was gone through bottom to top no more than 30hrs ago, check the sig for the rest of the details. If you need to see a pic of it check out my thread in the images forum. Thanks.

Trinity uses blaster cables with there 2 into 1 kits. NOT STOCK CABLES, the one you want is for a blaster that has the TORS elimination done. You can get one from Trinity, Toomey, and maybe Motion Pro.

If Not Blessed With The Banshee
FoxBansheeRacing replied to dirttrack25's topic in General Banshee Discussion
250r or yz426 powered quad, both of which I would rather have at this point. -
First off, what tools do I need and how do I get the flywheel off? Once I get that off I am thinking about getting a degree key, but I am worried about detenation. When I did a compression test I had 120# without holding the throttle open(I didnt know you had to). Will I be risking it if I advance the timing?

Thats pretty old news, the video was up in this forum the day or day after it happened.....

Ordering From Vitos
FoxBansheeRacing replied to BrokeStonedBiker's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Yes, I just ordered a Blaster top end kit from them a week ago, and they didnt calculate the shipping into the price. I thought they might have had one of those things where you dont pay shipping on orders over $100, but when I got the stuff the paper they give you had shipping added on. Oh well, I got the stuff in 3 days I think with regular ground so I cant complain. -
I have been having some problems not getting the power I want from the shee, and I just thought about the reed spacers. I read somewhere that they are supposed to help top end, so could having them be the problem why I'm not getting the low end power I am looking for??
-
Yep, I got that one and another on my watch list.

I'm looking for a 2 into 1 pipe, not looking to spend a whole lot. PM if you can help me out.

I just noticed today that I am leaking tranny oil somewhere behind the sprocket guard on the stator cover. The oil on the dipstick looked dirty, so I'm guessing dirt is getting into the bottom end as well. Do you think its the seal behind the sprocket or the shift rod or whatever its called. I have replaced the seal behind the sprocket before and its not a big deal, is it basicly the same thing on the shifter? I will be pulling off the stator cover this weekend for a closer look...

sredish- what is your elevation? I might need to go down on the pilot, because I am running a 52 pilot also, needle 4th or 5th clip from the bottom, 175 main and I am right around sea level. It was about 80 when I jetted it.
-
I had the shee jetted perfect for about 75-80 degrees, and I took it out today and rode it around a little bit, and now right off idle is a little sloppy, like its rich. I dont see how that can be because its only like 60 today. I took out the plugs and they looked fine, just like they did when it was 80 degrees out. I will ride it tomorrow when its warmer but I would just like to know what you guys think it might be.

What K&n Part# Do I Need
FoxBansheeRacing replied to 03 ORANGE SHEE's topic in General Banshee Discussion
If you are talking about Rocky Mountain you will just have to call them. You will have to go measure the filter side of the carb because thats what they usually go by. Mine was 2 1/2 so I would bet yours is the same. -
I think thats what I'm doing, but are wisecos forged or cast?
-
I am in the process of rebuilding my blaster and was wanting to know what kind of pistons you guys like. As of right now I plan on getting a Vito's Super Stock piston unless I hear something bad about them. What do you guys suggest?

Can You Put A Twist Throttle On If
FoxBansheeRacing replied to Gargamel's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
You will have to get the tors elimination kit if you want to run a twist throttle, or wait until you get the 2 into 1. -
Powerband Doesnt Seem Right
FoxBansheeRacing replied to FoxBansheeRacing's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Didnt really include much detail in the last post. Its not bogging or popping, kind of like its hesitating, but I thought that hesitation because of jetting would come on at a certain throttle position, not at certain rpms? Any help would be appreciated. -
After riding my shee a few more times with the gnarlies I think my jetting is off or something. The powerband will just not come on in the lower rpm range like it should. I think my old T-5's came on earlier. I tried playing with the pilot and needle a little bit but i couldnt get it right. Right now I have a 52 pilot, needle 3rd or 4th clip from pointed end, and a 175 main. What would you suggest doing? BTW, I am right around sea level and its jetted for about 70-90.

Wont Stop Going Wide Open!need Help Cant Fix!
FoxBansheeRacing replied to H300F's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Is it both cylinders over-revving? take the plug cap off one so only one cylinder is firing and see if its just one or both cylinders doing it.
