  1. Ok guys, the auction on the keihin 32mm's ends soon. They are 29's that have been smooth bored to 32's. The come with the throttle cable and everything, just missing the chokes. They are also much cheaper than the flatslides. Should I get them or wait for a set of flatsides?
  2. I use yahoo but banshee hq wont upload pics from there.
  3. Would it be ok to buy carbs that have been bored? I found a set that were originally 29's but have been bored to 32's. The only thing is that they are missing the chokes. Are these cheap and easy to find?
  4. Check out my ebay auctions. I will end any auction for a good offer. I am also looking for 30-32mm keihin or mukini carbs so I might trade the carb setup.
  5. Thanks for all the input guys. I think I have everything else figured out except the size of the carb. I have gotten a couple offers to trade the 35 for 28's, but I'm starting to think I need bigger carbs, like around 30-32's. What do you think? I also just found out how damn expensive aftermarket intakes are too, and the only place I have looked was on ebay.
  6. Ok guys, thanks for the help. It looks like I will be taking the single carb off and putting it on ebay. How much do you think I could get for a 35mm keihin power jet carb, graydon intakes, and k&n clamp on, all in good shape? Will my stock intakes work with any bigger carbs or would it be a good idea to get new? Should I be looking for 30-32mm carbs for low end with a stage 3 ported engine?
  7. I have been talking to another forum member about buying his 28's. So you think I should get something like 32's? I have seen those and 34's on ebay.
  8. What kind of pipes are the FMF Gold Series. I thought that there were Gold Series Fatties, Gnarlies, and SST's, but I have never saw just regular Gold Series pipes. I found a set on ebay and need to know what kind of pipe they are like(fatty, gnarly, or sst). If these pipes came off an 87 will they fit on a 99? Here is a pic if it helps.
  9. Evil- I sent you a pm.
  10. I have stage 3 port work, check my sig for all my other mods. 34's seem big for low end power. I have been seeing alot of Mikuni 28mm flatslides on ebay, are these good carbs? Keep in mind I am looking for all low-mid power, I don't really care about top end. As anyone tried both single and dual setups?
  11. Carb, filter and all boots may be sold. I will let you know.
  12. All I have been hearing lately is that the 2-1 carbs kill power. I would like to thank sredish on all the help he has given me, but would also like to hear what some others think about this. What is going to give me better low end and better throttle response between the single 35 and dual 28's(or any other duals)? The main reason I switched to a single carb is because it seemed like it would be easier to jet just one carb, and not have to worry about syncing two. If it will give me more power/torque I would not mind switching back to duals, but would getting some 28's off ebay or having my stockers bored be a better idea? Thanks for any suggestions.
  13. I'll end it for $40 shipped.
  14. Everything is now on ebay.
  15. I also have 2 sets of stock pegs, stock shifter and stock brake pedal.
  16. I have: Stock Carbs, boots, and throttle cable-280 mains, also have brand new 290's Toomey 2 into 1 filter with carb boots Head (not sure if its stock or not, it is gray) with brand new moose head gasket Make me an offer on anything. I have pictures of everything. PM or email at [email protected].
  17. I will sell you 2 sets for $40 shipped.
  18. Right now I have a clamp on K&N filter on my shee. It is the metal screen kind, not the foam. I ride mx, and I have been hearing that the foam is the kind to have unless you ride in sand, which I dont. Will I be able to tell a noticeable difference in switching to foam? If I will where can I buy one of these filters? I was trying to look for them but the site I normally buy from is down right now..
  19. You can look at them here. They are not sold due to a deadbeat bidder. I will let them go for $150 + shipping or make me an offer. Thanks.
  20. yfz450 or 450r are probably the fastest accelerating stock quads, top end probably a zilla.
  21. I don't think they have a website. They are based out of Pittsburg, PA. Their email address is [email protected] and this is a link to an ebay auction. I said the wrong price though, it is $250 for the porting and an extra $75 for the intake porting, but it seems to be well worth it.
  22. TR-6's seem to be good pipe for stock motors. Looking at your sig, your engine is not stock, so the CPI's would be better pipes.
  23. If I had the money I would get the pt mids. I can get my choice of fatties or gnarlies for $100 less brand new, and there seem to be a lot of them on ebay, so I might be able to pick up a pair for even less. Sredish, I really have nowhere to top it out, I ride all mx so I thought the gnarlies would suit me better?? I have a fatty on my blaster and I like it alot, but I would like any extra low end power I can get. I have another question and didnt want to start a new topic, if I decide to do a flywheel mod, should I just get a degree key, or an adjustable stator plate. Are either of those mods worth it and will I have to rejet?
  24. Check my sig for the carb, not really sure on it right now though, I might be going back to duals sometime. The company that did my porting was Pride Racing, I won an ebay auction for them to do my cylinders, it was only $250 for stage 3 porting and intake porting. I think they did an excellent job and will be going back to them in the future.
