  1. I could only see half of the first row of tiles because of all the toolbars on my damn internet window but now i have the head in the case and the 3 tiles.
  2. Im still trying to figure out how to line up the tile things right though...... Is it just my computer or can you only see half of the spinning tiles?
  3. thats where I'm stuck too ranshee.....
  4. Nevermind, I got it. Now I have a sharp pin and I'm stuck again
  5. My god, im stuck with a thin screw and poster, what the hell do i do now? Sorry, I just seem to be very impatient tonight.
  6. I finally got around to fixing my clutch problem and got in there and found the rod and ball are fine, it was just a bad clutch cable. So we were putting it back together and decided to torque the pressure plate at 10lbs because we thought thats what my old raptor's was supposed to be. Got 3 of them done, and snapped the head off the 4th. I already have new bolts ordered but now I need to know what they should be torqued at?? My second question is about my shocks. I seem to be able to wiggle them a little bit. I know I cant do this with shocks on an other quad, is that just how Elka's are? Its nothing huge, just a little wiggle and I would just rather not have a shock fall off or something like that.
  7. 51 was my low.
  8. I tried vice grips after the impact driver. It may have not worked because I didnt really have one small enough, but I think its just because the screws are on there so damn tight.
  9. WTF, they made an Earnhardt JR before Sr? I would think that more people would buy the Senior edition over a junior..
  10. Convince the kid to race you for quads, him and all his jackass friends are so convinced he will win I bet he would do it. Then you will have a nice craptor you can sell and make some mad cash.
  11. I was going to be opening up my engine today but 3 or 4 of the screws that hold the clutch side cover on are stripped. I tried using one of those screwdrivers you hit the end of with a hammer and turn at the same time, and a couple of them came loose, but theres still a few that wont come out. Am I going to have to take a drimmel to it?? Any other suggestions?
  12. I might be able to make it then. I couldnt this weekend because of clutch problems.
  13. I just want to be safe, the less I'm in my motor the better. I found a company that makes aftermarket components and I am just wondering what else I need besides this. Here is the link. I will still need the rod correct?
  14. Do you know of any places that sell the aftermarket kit that is supposed to keep it from happening again? I have found a couple sites but their links dont work...
  15. No, I appreciate the help. I will be tearing into it sometime next week probably. Once I get the cover and front of the basket off, assuming I will be able to see the ball and rod, how am I going to get it to break apart?
  16. Also wanted to ask where I might get the parts I need. I definitely am not going to replace it with stock parts again.
  17. Yeah, I bought with most of the stuff it has on it, including the clutch. So I will be able to fix it just by removing the clutch basket? I have not been in the bottom end of this thing yet but I did a tranny rebuild on my old craptor. The motor wont need to come out will it? And will I have to split the case or just take off the clutch side cover?? Thanks for all the help guys.
  18. So what am I going to have to do, take the clutch cover off or split the case? I didnt even think about the tranny oil because it has been less than 20 hrs since I changed it.
  19. Sweet. Are those +2's??
  20. And the top end has less than 40 hours on it.
  21. Ok, I went out and started taking the clutch components apart. I got the clutch cable off the thing that it hooks to and turns, got that black thing loosened up and got it out of the way so the rod that the spring is on will move. Well it will come up about an inch or so and stop and not come any farther, what does this mean?
  22. So how much is this going to cost to fix? I will be able to do all the labor myself but what about parts??
