i bought the little nubby valve stems off of ebay to flip my front rims but i havent installed them yet. my rear are already flipped. i understand the drawbacks of doing this...more bump steer (i have a stabilizer, i hope this helps) more stress on ball joints (this is minimal i hope) and greater turning radius. i ride mostly flat open trails and some mx type shit. for the most part, i stay out of the woods trails...but i may ride some in the future. i was hopeing for some opinions on whether the good outweigh the bad. would the shocks bottom out easier? how much easier? thanks guys

i dont know what it has to do with greasin you airbox but for any of you guys out there that dont have at least a cheap air compressor...get one. indespensable carb cleaning assistance and will also enable you to blow dry your machine after washing. take the front and rear plastics off and then lightly mist every bit of that bad boy with wd-40...then shees too purty to get dirty.

yeah, anything can be made to work. will they bolt right up? no. you would have to probably hack on the silencers and maybe cut yourself a metal sleeve of the appropriate size from some tubing to center and align (slide over) where they come together and then double clamp the sleeve, so you would need 4 clamps all together (2 on each side) oh, yeah...no need to double post, we heard ya the first time.

im not sure about the turbo, but if you call mike weaver, his ebay name is catdaddy1234 and he has the best feedback rating imagineable and for good reason, he can line you out on the nitrous. go to page 2 here in repairs and mods and see "got nitrous?" if you would like to learn a little more about that

you were having this same problem before the topend rebuild, correct? how long had it been since you had ridden it before this happened? how sure are you that you cleaned the carbs good? did you use compressed air to blow out all passages? you can have someone spray a volatile areosal (most carb cleaners work pretty good) into the airbox (remove the filter first and clean airbox real good) while you kick it over. if shee pops you can be sure that it is just a carburator problem most likely and then go from there.

this is a dead thread, i just wanted to let anyone know who may have read it (i know raxen read it cause he posted after me)...the last post from me in got nitrous (no need to go back and check it out...it has been edited to say "ok") wasnt really me...it said some shit like "yeah i hate when i get burned up by a 4-stroke that weighs 500lbs"...my friend knows me good enough that he figured out my password and logged on as me (hes got a kfx700 and i burn him up all the time)...he also changed some shit in my profile...that was actually kind of funny...dickhead. anyways sorry to waste everyones time.

just for shits and grins have you tried swapping plug wires to make sure your problem doesnt move to the other cylider... probably not as you would most likely notice an ignition problem even at higher rpms...but its so easy its worth a try. stranger things have happened. it is at least possible to have an ignition miss at low rpms...but will fire at higher rpms. worth a try.

did you just get this bike and it was running like shit or have you had it and it just started running like shit...if youv'e had it and it used to run fine, what did you change? air box mod? start oiling your filter different? change 2stroke oil? have you tried draining and refilling your tank? throttle caps nice and tight?

hey rax, one more thing...my friends bike is the twin cylinder kfx700 . any idea how best to install the nozzles on his machine? and are all reed spacers the same thickness?
