  3. LMMFAO While I am at it...since this is the roostin room...cabinboy your cool and I love you and all, but your 2cycle combustion theory graphic there is wore the f*ck out. What I mean by that is ....I f'ckin hate it...and it is only because I have a dial up connection and I don't know what it is about that f'cking graphic but it loads slower than 2 twats on a dildo in high def!!! It looks like it should be about 2bytes but it loads like 2gig!!! Damnnnn!!!!! I need dsl.....
  4. STLBILL I would be glad to be your designated arbitrator!!! We'll shake them b@stards down for all their worth!!! Loco, Evil, Bansheefreak....thanks, and Evil..........your fired.
  5. This guy is an A-hole. I can't believe he just wants to pick a fight. What a dick. You butt-ugly, brainless ass-goblin. You dumb-ass, no talent, flash in the pan waste of space! You ride your banshee like a girl! Esen sphelen minen fife, or however you say it over there in nazi-land! How was that? j/k by the way streetshee . Good topic, this is fun!
  6. I'm pm'n ya playa.
  7. I took my boss to the boards today (hockey reference...i.e. a good check ). I hit him up for the raise i've been thinking about, and things couldn't of hardly went any better! He is generally a tough negotiator and i was anticipating problems...but I was loaded for bear. He almost took all of my ammo but I still had a couple of rounds in the barrel when he fell . My co-worker rode my coat tails to higher pay once again . It should have been his turn to work him over, but I was definitely the right man for the job. He has been there a year longer than me and has the same schooling so the last two raises that I...again I got for us, he recieved a dime more than me to compensate his 1yr senority. I have been there 10yrs by the way. A few years ago I got us $4 more an hour in one session of negotiation. This time I worked him over for $3.50 an hour more. Well $3 really, because he gave us the .50 cents about a month ago. He should have tried a little harder then and he may have averted this . I am not bragging (too much ) I am just trying to encourage anyone concidering mob action against their boss to get their argument together and go for it. It doesn't hurt to ask...if you have a good, well thought out approach that is. Oh yeah, bigger companies are a little harder to approach for larger wage increase...at least in the blue collar industry, so use your best judgement, but don't be afraid to "ask for the stars ...but expect the moon". I heard that from some one. Sounds pretty gay, but a good adage in wage negotiations. Later.
  8. I don't understand what you are trying to say... . I'm j/k Loco...I couldn't resist . Hey, you don't still have that badass front bumper majig that you made, do you? I want to buy it!
  9. I got them in January for $182.50 off of ebay. I was hoping I would be able to just put them on and run them, but I could tell that they would bottom out too easily...even on small shit...the springs are just too soft. I had the springs off to check the valving (moved the pistons through their stroke) and they seem fine and there is no sign of leakage but the bottom line is that to run them they will need to be reworked for your weight, riding style and front end geometry. This will most likely require new springs also, which would make them look and ride as good as new and would be around $120-160 for valving and springs, depending on where you go...works, elka, TCS and many other smaller companies will rework them. Check around, you may even have someone reputable locally that could do it. I will let them go for the first $90 + shipping...or make a trade offer. Oh yeah...no rezzy's and no pics right now, but I will eventually get some. I am going to buy a digital camera next week for sure .
  10. Why the hell is this in the roostin room?
  11. Thanks guys. Duece, that is just what I needed to hear man. Now I feel confident that I will get the shock setup that is right for me. I think I will give Eric a call also and tell him that my major concern is high speed stability on off-camber terrain. I'm always slamming into the rough shit going too fast. But I've gotten pretty good at holding on! Can't wait to slam through that shit with the Elkas! Hey Meat, Shawn at Janssen sounded like he was steering me towards the powdercoating, and away from the chrome which is what I want. He said that it would probably start flaking off...wtf? Also, is there any dis-advantage to +3, other than being tighter through narrow trails? Are your arms chrome, dunin? If so, how long have you had yours and how is the chrome holding up? Thanks guys.
  12. Just to re-cap, Dunedemon said: Bahahahahaa! LMMFA the F OFF
  13. Thanks Deuce. Yeah, I'd rather bend an arm then my frame. How did you specify your shocks to be set-up. Riding style I guess is what I'm asking. I ride a little bit of everything and don't know what to tell them. I can't decide whether I should get the Janssen arms or the Quicksand arms. Anyone have any opinions?
  14. :o Sorry if you got your feelings hurt there Sally...but it looks like you started it. He was simply stating his opinion. The very value of this forum is the critical analysis that is achieved by differing opinions. You my friend, kind of crossed the ethical line of good forumship in defense of yours. Without full analysis, some boob out there would have paid too much for some used 450 arms and then paid someone too much to fit them...when they would have been better off getting aftermarket. If I had some free 450 arms though, I'd fuckin fit em! Lets see those pics!
  15. I got them off of ebay. I never ran them on my bike. I have new elka's on the way now. I did put them on and the springs seemed too soft. They are black.
  16. My tax return that is. I'm dropping it on some suspension upgrades and was really hoping you guy's could help me out. I called Janssen Racing today and can get thier +2 +1 rec arms w/Elka dual rate comp. adj. zero preload w/piggyback rezzy's and line kit for $1175. These arms are carbon steel but Shawn (the guy I talked to) said they are 5 times stronger than the stock arms. The price would be $1450 to upgrade to the 4130 chromemoly arms with heim joints (the rec arms have ball joints). Is it worth the extra cost...which could buy me some v-force's or something? Is +3 better than +2? Any other info would be great. Know where I could find a better deal? Thanks.
  17. I'm liking it already . Anybody know how much it is?
  18. What do you guys think about this thing? http://directdrivebillet.tripod.com/directdrivecnc/id2.html
  19. I had a white 96' banshee. Now I have a black one. The white is definitely good for not showing the scuffs and scratches too bad. The black looks better imo when all shined up, but looks dull and shows the scuffs after washing and drying, unless you put something on it to make it shine. The red frame might look good with black... as long as you get the color and finish right on the frame. White would probably look better though imo. I think you should get black plastic and paint your frame a different color like "grave digger" green or something, that would look cool. Or maybe not
  20. Someone help! I'm confused .
  21. Awwww shit Deuce! I was gonna pretend it was normal and learn to live with it...kind of like my old lady. I guess it started when I put on the k&n and got worse when it got cold (by the way, my bike always has fresh plugs and a clean air filter ). It has been in the 30's and 40's the last few times I have rode it. It will rev a little better if I go back to half choke but then it starts to load up there and so I go back to no choke, and it smooths out...but still won't rev clean for a good 10 minutes of idle time. I picked up some 27.5 pilots from the stealership but they sold me the wrong ones. I went back and they said they don't know...that should be them. Do you think that would help? If so I will go back with my stock pilot, so I can show them what I need. The kid behind the counter looked like he should have been in school and he was scratching through a bin of jets and shit...looking really confused . Dang it, I loose track of time when I am on here....nighty night.
  22. Thats cool, sounds like it is normal...I feel better now...I can live with that. Thanks guys . If you don't receive your powerband in 4-6 weeks, one of the other 3 enteries must have won. Good luck.
  23. LMFAO And what the hell is
  24. I would have to think about it too much to describe it to you. Sorry dude, your on your own.
