  1. Yes, the Quicksand arms come with heavy billet tie rods. You should order your Elka's directly from Elka in Canada. Call 1800 557-0552 and ask for Eric. Tell him how you want them setup and order right through him, no middle-man needed.
  2. No shit. What a bunch of fucking ingrates...thats my word for ungrateful bastards. The strength of our "empire" is the only reason Canada can sit back like the bunch of pussies that they are and watch the world go by. The whole world don't hate us ass munch. Its called democracy and its spreading. I heard canada is broadcasting al jazeera news but you guys can't get fox news. Whatever. We'll spank your bitch ass if we have to and take us some breathing room. Fuckin' ingrate.
  3. I won it! Sorry Sick Boy, but I was planning on strapping a bigger bottle of nitrous to the front of my bike (my 2lb'r goes pretty quick) and this ugly ass bumper looks like a good strappin' platform. 10lbs of nitrous in a 15lb bottle out front oughta keep the front end down...I might even have to put my shorter swingarm back on. Postal money order or certified cashiers check only It's called paypal, get with the program j/k sir...postal money order on the way
  4. stuff
  5. What part of the clutch failed? Broken basket? Glad to hear you got them ready to rip again. Let us know who's is faster.
  6. For smooth arc characteristics with stick electrode its hard to beat an old commutator output generator like a lincoln sa-250 pipeliner or sae motor generator. They don't make em like that anymore mostly because of cheaper ways of doing things (a lot more copper in them old units). Inverter based technology has come a long way and for a mig process you won't find a more precisely controlled powersource than the Lincoln STT (surface tension transfer). This powersource is not constant current or constant voltage like a conventional welder. In controls the current based on instantaneous arc requirements with micro millisecond sampling (I just made up micro millisecond, but its fast). The result is almost no smoke or spatter. The difference really is amazing. Tig...Lincolns Square Wave 355 looks like the cockpit of 747. Everything you need to make welds like Gary at Quicksand...except the skills.
  7. English huh. You guys need to step a little closer to the toothbrush over there. Talk about some f*cked up grills. I heard you were over there living in the trailer park f*cking your sister while eating a mayonaisse sandwich and listening to Wham on vinyl. You need to get a job is what you need to do you loser...with a dental plan.
  8. Cool screen name SIKGrl. I like your avatar too. Looks like E.T. trying to phone home from a mosh pit at the colliseum. So how old are you and how much do you weigh? j/k Holla if ya...........need anything .
  9. Sounds like a TORS problem. On the left front frame tube just below the gas tank is a black TORS module with a single connector plug. Disconnect that plug and that will probably cure the problem. Did you have your carb slides out recently? If the slides do not return all the way, but the TORS switch in the thumb throttle says they should be, TORS will disable the ignition. When you give it enough throttle to open the little switch in the thumb throttle housing, ignition is restored. It sounds like you may have a slide stuck open since it revs real high when you move the throttle just enough to make the switch click. I'd disconnect that module anyway and forget about it.
  10. In stock trim, or properly jetted with just some pipes, the banshee is very reliable. It's not uncommon to get 5 or 6 yrs of hard riding before having to think about doing a topend. Engine, tranny, chassis...its all stood the test of time. When you start porting the jugs and or raising compression, you will have to keep a closer eye on things though.
  11. I kicked some major doom 1+2 ass on my old playstation. I still have some killer codes for every level if anyone wants hooked up All the rockets and plasma you can handle. Guess I'm gonna have to check out 3.
  12. Oh, by the way, of course we have "harnessed" the power of the atom per say, but I am talking about perfection. 100% efficiency. Something that is said to be impossible with any energy conversion. Impossible for us. We know the approximate speed of light and nothing can eclipse it. God is light. The bible says so. Light was the beginning and will be the end. Light is life giving energy. What do we really know about light? Nothing really. We make stuff up called "photons" and they permeate through the "ether" and their speed is measured by a shift in wavelength on some hoosier contraption that some guy invented and said this is how you measure the speed of light...and I'm right. Do we even truly know the full spectrum of light? God is full spectrum. IMO
  13. Great post Holyman. We know the power of the atom, but will probably never fully harness or extract all of the potential energy, but that doesn't mean that it can't be done...so that which you cannot fathom or conceive can still exist. An anylitical mind stays open to that which it cannot disprove. IMO God gives you strength. Faith makes a fearless warrior. It is no coincedence that so many champions from so many different arenas of human performance will cite God and their faith as part of their driving force. I feel there is more than meets the eye in this life and a bigger picture is unfolding but no one really has the vantage point to see it all. OK, I'm gonna go check out some porn now .
  14. Yeah dude, like J.J. said, stock carbs, like most all carbs have adjustable needles. There's a C-clip on the needle as you will see when you disassemble your slide assembly. Raise the clip to lower the needle (leaner) or lower the clip to raise the needle (richer). Tell your buddy he's a boob, fool, chump, dumbass...or one of your choice. I had DG's on my old 96'. They made good power but fit like ass. I had to grind down the lever on the petcock (funny word) of my fuel tank to clear the pipe and then could still only turn it to reserve. Happy riding .
  15. hubs, headlights, grill and full exhaust painted baby shit green.
  16. What frocash said. When you pull the stator and clutch covers you may be able to SEE a problem with one of the crank seals before you split the cases, but regardless, it's a case leak.
  17. Have you tried the needle in the leanest position yet...with the clip all the way up to the blunt end (end thats not pointy)? If not try that. You should usually only make one change at a time, but I would also throw 320's in at the same time. Do a wot chop...you should be fine but shut her down if theres any lean sputtering or cackling on top.
  18. Yeah dude if it fell in that hole, start looking on the ground because thats where it would end up unless you have a skid plate, then it would be on top of that.
  19. I think you need to learn to stay on the pipe now and use the clutch like a banshee master until you save up some loot for some v-force reeds and some bigger carbs. Then you should have a much easier time getting it to run like you want. Porting will somewhat reduce low rpm intake velocity due to the intake ports being opened up. Larger ports increase maximum flow capibility but can reduce intake VELOCITY at lower rpms. V-force should help tremendously with a problem like yours. Thats my theory anyway .
  20. Oh yeah, kind of like when a tree falls, does a bear shit in the woods and does anybody hear it...err...uhhhhh... j/k...i'm wich ya
  21. Yeah that sucks ass. It ended and I just missed it.
  22. In my view, it doesn't matter. If evolution WERE true, who's to say that a higher being didn't plant the seeds with that very plan, and knowing the outcome.
