The bullshit on top of the stock carbs is part of the TORS system, which stands for throttle overide system. It, along with a switch in your throttle housing, provide a safety circuit that will kill the ignition if your thumb throttle returns but your carb slides don't. Most guys will tell you to get a TORS removal kit, but I would just run it until you can get some 30mm flatslides or something. The screws are idle adjustments and used to synchronize the carbs.

Heavy white smoke from the right side is usually the crank seal on the clutch (right) side. Pull the right pipe. If there is tranny oil in the pipe, then it is the crank seal.

Why would he let the auction run to the end if he was just going to watch it and cancel bids? The radical muslims over in that region hated us even before we stepped foot on their ground. Instead of flying planes into buildings and killing 3000 people, they would have nuked us if they could and killed 3,000,000 . It was not going to get any better on its own. I'm not a Bush supporter but at least he had the balls to take action and start to gain a foot hold in that very unstable region. A little over 2yrs ago I sprained my ankle at work. Not being one to not get what is coming to me, I started following up on my workmans comp claim. I've been working for about 17yrs and with my current employer for 10 and this is the first work related injury I've had. Well long story short, after rattling there cage, the insurance company offered me $1700 about 6weeks ago. The injury was not disableing and I am not greedy so I accepted. A couple days later I was contacted by the adjuster and advised of the settlement procedure and was told that they were going to make it an even $2000. That was cool. Well today I went before the settlement board to be advised of my rights and to sign the settlement agreement. It was just me, a lawyer for the insurance company, and a very nice lady judge. She reviewed my file while I sat there. She then asked the lawyer what they had offered and he said 4% disability which calculated out to $2000. She then asked me about my injury. She then proceeded to explain to the lawyer that she felt that, based on my case, 7.5% was a more fair and accurate representation of my level of disability. She and the lawyer both punched on their calculators and agreed that worked out to $3800 . I couldn't believe it! I love her! I never thought the system worked like that. When I accepted $1700, I certainly didn't think it would turn into $3800. Can you say Cheetah!!!

The fatty is an excellent all around pipe. They have a broad powerband and pull strong. They do perform well with trail/mx porting. There are better pipes for drag porting. They fit well and look good IMO.
