  3. I had to go do that after the sand blaster got carried away. Take the title to the DMV and have a new title and vin made up for you. The vin will go on with rivets, it was fairley cheap. 40 bones or so for me. As for ins. mine cost 10 bones a month per machine, youres sounds high.

    New Duner Build

    I dune my cub and love it, but I also had 370lr for 3 years and beat the piss out it. I mean thrashed that motor. Rode 4 to 5 times a week and the weekend, it NEVER let me down. Stock swinger, dune ported, 34mm mikuni flat slides with K&Ns and outerwears. If I ever get another shee, Ill build another one. Cant tell you happy I was with that motor.JMO BTW, comp. was 175 with T5s

  8. Fuck dave! Wish I wouldve known you needed that shit!. I have a JJ&A and I could have matched them up off mine, went to a local store here and got all youre shit stainless and hardend for maybe 25 -30 bones. That sux ass man!!!
  9. I wasnt telling him to rely on the comp test for a rebuild. I do a comp test every 25 hours, if its dropped 10lbs, I pull the head and check shit out. Brandon is right about the feel of the motor, if you think anything at all has started to go away, pull the head. Cheap insurance. Sorry I wasnt clearer about the comp test. And Ive ridden mine for 40 more hours after a comp test, trying to fry it so I could go bigger and badder, so the ole lady wouldnt be pissed.. lol
  10. Ive seen this before but im not 100%. Check the impeller out for sure. Buddys brand new motor, same shit, impellar was shot. Billet impellar prob solved. Give it a shot.
  11. Ur rings have seeded, its all good! Ride te hell out of it!! If you get more of a 10% diff between cyls, then tear down and re-ring or rebuild, whatever it needs.
  12. Easier way to tell. Do a compression check. and when you take the plugs out, check for aluminum. Se if it burnt down.
  13. I have a bad leg, so I have some probs with the shift shaft at times. Pull the clutch cover off, and see if the shift shaft is off the star. The spring is really weak, so if its jacked up at all, replace it. Fairly cheap. It will work for a while longer if its just off the star, but it will do it again.

  17. Every she on the planet needs air moving through the rad. The litlle teeny impellar cant do that at an idle for 25 min. The impellar wont move with youre fingers it connected to the crank (ie, the white gear on the back of the impellar). Just check the comp. make sure it all good, and never EVER do that again. BTW, jetting rich will get it hot faster, just like lean.
  18. An air leak on the boot would do that, lean that bitch waay out for a couple secs. try it after you get that fixed. then I HIGHLY recommend nothin less than 112 oct. with youre comp to keep from detonating. Let us know.
  19. What I had to do is, take my bike to the dmv and show them the bike so they could register it for me and and give me a new vin. I also did it with a pic for the drag chassis I had to register. Call the dmv, tell them the bike was bought out of state and that state doesnt require the bike to titled, so you need to know what to do to get a title. Good luck
