(helped a buddy do it) Run a tie down from the frame to the swinger, takes the shock out of play (like struttin it). Dont reccomend it though.

    Its that or the springs on the shift shaft are shot. Try that and the adj. nut.

    Well now I did it. Did a comp check last night, 140 on the right 170 on the left. tore it down today. Lost a screw out of the left carb, aluminum every where. right side has a flat spot on the back of the piston, thus more aluminum on that side. guess Im down for a bit.... SOAB!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont think the cyls r hurt (cubs) Guess Ill find out
