  1. Yes you can read a plug on a 4-stroke, what kind of mods exactly? If just a filter and slip-on, try a 150, stock should be about a 135-140.
  2. Need more info, What kind of noise, where did it come from, when does it do it exactly, and did you do anything to it just before this happened?
  3. Like was already said, depends on what kind of riding you do, and other mods. Do you want low end, mid, or a top end shriek? It all depends on what you want, all the pipes listed will increase performance, some more in certain areas than others.

  8. It sounds like it may be getting too hot. I would check oil level, clutch fibers and adjustment. Don't forget to line up the marks on the case and clutch arm before you adjust the freeplay on the lever.

  10. I agree, boring the cylinder does nothing to the power, just wears out faster!
  11. I had the pipes on my Vmax sled ceramic coated and they hold up fine, and look great!
  12. I am on my 2nd set of plugs since new, I have rebuilt it once when I had some motor work done and changed the plugs just because it was all new, never changed since. Oh, that was back in dec 2002! No reason to change if they still work eh?
  13. Wayne National Forest is a good place to go and Haspin Acres in Indiana is nice, 2 moto tracks there. It's in Laurel, IN about 25mi West of the Ohio border almost straight weast of Indy. That is where the Midwest roostfest will likely be.

  17. Not sure about the K&N jetting out of sequence, but I think you are about right on the jetting you suggested.
  18. No matter what oil you have you need to go up to at least a 320 with no lid and a K&N filter. Is the needle 2nd from blunt or pointed end?
  19. T4's? Where did you find them? I would start at a 310 main, needle in middle, and if I remember right T4's like alot of pilot so a 30 will probably do. Later

  22. What jets are in it now? Does it have a bog anywhere or just doesn't seem to rev? Does it do it in all gears? Give some info so we can help.
  23. This was a hot topic a while back, I say Engine ice. Used it for years and never overheated!
  24. They are very similar in power bands, the Pro circuit is a copy of the T5. Go with wich ever is cheaper if money is an issue or what you like best if not.
