becareful with the studs that hold the jugs on i snapped one when mine blew a few weeks ago so i tryed to drill it and easy out it and ended up snapin the easy out off!!so now theres nothing to weld a nut to to get it out and im gona have to pull the eng and put it on a drill press with a special bit thats strong enough to drill a easy out since i dulled about 10 bits with no luck gettin the easy out out hum guess easy outs not so easy lol and i thought id be up and running the day after i blew it since i had a extra piston and the jug was still good stupid me any who all this crap over a $3.00 stud oh well so sad too bad for me the worst is all the ppl i ride with ride z400s and kfx400s so i gotta hear how great 4 pokes are and how there so much better couse the shees down all the time!! how humiliating!!!!!

sounds like a blown piston or ring to me thats what mine did both times you realy should check the compression a checker is only like 40 bucks at sears you want the same number for both sides mines usualy 140 unless its blown then mines 140 and 10 lol

im on my second top end and guess what its the left side thats screwed last rebuild was last yrs so its ok but i was woundering whats the deal with the left side i see most members that have problems its usualy with the left side alot more than the right. anyone have any theories

got a odd sound comein from the shee cant tell where its comein from it sounds like by the reeds or case and it sounds kinda like a fuoset with low water presser you know the kind with a screen on them but it seams to run just fine compression on both sides are 140 just rebuilt the top end last week so my question is do reeds or water impellers make some kinda sound when they go bad? reeeds looked good when i put them back in thanx in advance for the info

well i bought it used so yes its always bee hard and ive tryed to lube it and it dont do crap for it. i dont think its in the cable i think its what the cable pulls like theres too stiff a spring on it or some thing i dono is there a adjuster? ps dont think its couse im a sissy either im 6foot 2 and weigh 220 lbs and work with brick and block all day so i dont think its couse my hands are weak

anyone elses clutch hard to pull i mean realy hard like your squeezin one of those hand exersizers but worse? what could be causein this and what can i do about it?
