  1. I have 5 cans that I Use. 1 is marked race mix 40:1, which is 1/2 race gas/ 1/2 premium/mixed 40:1. 2 are marked race gas, and the last 2 are just premium for mixing with the race fuel or the generator. The one marked race gas get's filled with enough oil for 5 gallons @ 40:1, then 2 1/2 gallons of race, then 2 1/2 gallons premium. I've found this procedure works the best for me. I tried the tags, but they get moved, or you forget to move it
  2. Check out this thread: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...5&hl=450+shocks
  3. Better check it, When I had a little rattle in mine, It had come loose. Luckily it didn't mess up anything or I would of been pissed off. Lesson Learned. Double check that you torqued everything!!!!!
  4. I don't think they look too bad with the ears cut off and a good powder coat job...Plus cutting the ears off adds about 2 hp....
  5. Oh, I forgot That's with a cash replacemnt value of $6500
  6. I've got my ins with Foremost. It's about $260 a year but that includes, Liability, Collision, and comp. with $200.00 deduct. It also includes $5000.00 worth of Medical coverage for myself
  7. you can also get race gas 110 octane at the Napa Shop in Reedsport for $4.25 a gal. That's the best price that I've found, especially for the coast....And it's not to far from Coos Bay
  8. I just cut the ears of of mine where the rear fender guards attached, sanded them down a bit, then had them powder coated only cost the price of the powder coating, and a little of my time
  9. Yes it does fit into the stock throttle with out any mods
  10. My Shee cam with one on it when I bought, and I must say that I love it. I had to slide the throttle assembly in just a bit on the bars so that I could better utilize the extension, but after a day of riding, your thumb will thank you......
  11. I was just looking at the calendar, and realized that I will actually be there early Friday afternoon on the 16, and leaving on Sunday Afternoon
  12. I am definitely interested. I am heading to horsefalls on the weekend of April 17, and again on May 7
  13. I'm not trying to determine the best gearing combination, What I am after is what type of chain and sprockets do you recommend for the Shee. Thanks
  14. my supplier is looking into the cost of replacement parts, should have a cost/availability tomorrow
  15. what brand do you guys recommend???
  16. I went riding this weekend at the dunes, and I hit something and broke a couple of teeth off of my rear sprocket. My question is, Does anyone use a rear skid plate to prevent this from happening. I've noticed when doing some of the hill climbs that there is a distinct drag marks from my sprocket and rotor and wondered if this would also prolonfg chain/sprocket life, or just cause me to high center. Any info woul be greatly appreciated.
  17. We use those same type of lamps in a lot of the low voltage ligthing that we install, but I haven't ever had to replace a socket. I am sure that I can get a replacement. I will check out what the wholesale house has for parts tomorrow and get back to you. I do know that I can get the lamps for a better price than most bike shops charge, plus, there is a wide selection of beam patterns and wattages.
  18. Full Bore
  19. thanks for the info, any recommendations on where to get the best price. Also is there anything else that I will need other than new intakes and a few jets? Will my stock K&N's fit these new carbs??
  20. I am thinking about upgrading my carbs, and I am not sure what size/type to go with . I have tried the 2 into 1 and was not impressed with it.(just my opinion) You can see my mods listed below in my sig. I am currently running the stock carbs, and ride primarily at the dunes. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  21. $150 is a steal of a price if they are in decent shape. Are they chromed?? What kind of shape are they in?? If you don't want them I might be interested...
  22. Cascade Innovations Carries them
  23. I couldn't agree with you more about christmas valley. I went there with a few of my buddies last year, and what a waist of time. First of is the horrible road into the place. If there is anything loose on your vehicle on the way in, it will probably fall off on the way out. Then there's then dunes themselves, small and very dusty/dirty, it's like riding in powder. I would definitely make sure to hit any of the dunes on the Oregon Coast, they all off a little something different. When are you heading out?? Requirements 95 DB or less, Flag, Off road Permit, and a NW Forest pass for the parking lots. Definitely recommend paddles
  24. I've got a toomey radiator, and run Engine Ice, never had any problems overheating. Definitely worth the $$$
