Too bad it's a pain in the ass to reserve a large number of camping spots. I have 8 spots reserved for may, and I had to call and reserve 4 spots in my name, then call right back and reserve 4 spots in my wifes name. I wish they would install some improvements. But atleast horse falls has hot showers, just don't forget the quarters.....

it's not a problem of the difficulty, I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed it somewhere. I had to fix a broken one on part of the lower linkage before. It was a good excuse to buy a quality set of easyouts....

I just got back from riding and was cleaning up my shee, and I noticed that there is not a grease zerk for the swingarm. I crawled all around and still didn't see one. Am I just missing it, or is there not one there? I am getting ready to replace all the swingarm and linkage bearings as soon as I get my shock back from TCS and I was wondering if there is no Grease Zerk should I drill and tap and put one in?? Curious to hear what you guys have done????

well, just got the new shocks today, and got them installed just a while ago. I took me about 2 1/2 hours total, but that included a couple of buddies telling me to grind here, grind there. but no one wanted to make the first cut so to speak. All in all, I would say about 30 minutes of grinding and fitting per side to make sure that I didn't removed any more than I had to. Now I can't wait to get in out on the sand and see how it performs.

I don't know exactly how far in they are, but when I was there this past fall (around september) most of the good runs going down thru the trees were blocked off and had signs saying that they were closed to motor vehicles with a big 6" x6" timber buried in the middle of the trail, and the bottom of the trails had been cut-out with a piece of heavy equipment leaving a drop off at the bottom. Maybe they reopened them, but I haven't been back since due to the weather.

I live in Grants Pass, And just went to Winchester Bay this weekend. The dunes were wickedly steep, and you had to watch out for all of the ravins, but it just made it that much more challenging. It's been so wet and windy over there, that the dunes had a cornice like lip at the top and you had to had to be on the throttle enough to punch through with out launching into space. I just wish Banshee hill wasn't getting so washed out. I can remember when you really had to have your shit together to even think about attempting it, now there are craptors damn near backing up it...LOL I've got 8 spaces reserved for my family/friends and myself at the campgroung at horsefalls for the second week of May, I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it will be decent weather. Maybe I should sacrafice my friends warrior to the weather god!!!!!! Do they still have all of the chutes going down to the Train tracks between box car and hauser road blocked off. Those were some of the best riding places, and the last time I was there, they were all barracaded off

I think that someone has taken the knowledge from Banshee HQ and is selling it on a disk at E-bay. They even have directions to design your own Yamaha Energy Induction System (Y.E.I.S)OR: "BOOST BOTTLE " http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2457565990 Maybe someone should tell the guy that bid on this, that Banshe HQ is free...LOL

I've got an 2000 Xr 650r, and I love it. It's a pig in the sand but when you can open her up on the beach she flat hauls. It's almost spooky, but for the tight stuff and instant power, I always rely on my Banshee

I came acrossed this article about tuning your shocks while surfing the web, and thought that someone might find it usefull. http://www.off-road.com/atv/suspension/shockadj.htm#preload

How much for the extended swingarm, and do you have any photos???
-
What would you recommend for an intermediate rider, riding at the dunes(trails, and hill climbs), +4 swingarm, 255 lbs rider. You can see the engine mods in my sig. Thanks For the info. P.S. is it very difficult to change the spring, and/or should I have the shock revelved also????,

I love my lazer stars from weekend concepts. I bought them used from a buddy for $50.00 bucks because one of the mounting bezels were cracked. i had it welded, then spent some elbow grease cleaning and polishing and you can't even tell they have been repaired. Gonna add higher wattage lamps as soon as I get a new stator.

Janets Breast Fell Out 1/2 Time Show
dnhyoung replied to sweetshee4312's topic in General Banshee Discussion
that video link doesn't work. I unfortunately missed the half time show.... -
some powder coating shops do it, but don't let them fool you with saying that they use high temp powder coating, it's totally different, it's actually a glass based coating that applies like powder coating. you can read more about it here: http://www.nicindustries.com/

I've got the prm rear skid plate, as well as the six pick rack, and they fit great, and are tough as hell. Plus the fact that they are right in my back yard so to speak. http://www.prm-atv.com/

If you want that look, then I would get them ceramic coated..

yes, yellow is for High beam, and green is for low beam with the black being the ground.
