  1. I smell a divorce
  2. Keep the cylinders, I want the virgin.
  3. They are the real deal. I had them all last season, and they show very little wear. They stay put, period. I know this sounds stupid, but I could have swore I could hold wheelies through whoops better/longer with those grips.
  4. I like the PJs. Finally learned how to deal with them.
  5. I just can't justify the price. Where exactly do you see the improvement/ worth of these plugs? For 18 bucks I can get 4 br9es. Seems like alot for plugs in a machine that requires several chops a year if you change elevation/riding areas like I do. I don't like the idea of chopping a cheaper plug, and then running a diff. plug after adjustments have been made. Why pay more to get a hotter plug? You can adjust the heat range of the ngk plugs by going with a 7 or a 9 instead of the regular 8. Are there hp gains? Tq gains? If you are fouling regular plugs, you have jetting issues. I do not understand how these plugs fix a fouling situation. I wouldn't want a bandaid fix to a rich/lean condition.
  6. Why add all that extra weight of a dual caliper set-up? My front brakes lock up just fine with the stock set up. But I still want to se a pic.......
  7. Sometimes the springs get streched when changing pipes. If it is an annoying rattle, just get a set of new springs. They shouldn't be that expensive.
  8. Go to an auto parts store with your jug. Tell them you need to refresh the cross hach in the cylinder. They will give you the tool you need. I forget the name, but it looks like a bunch of pummis stone balls attached to wires attached to a long rod that attaches to a your power drill. a few passes and your cyl. will be as fresh as spring daisys. Get a sportport and port that sucker while you got her torn down.
  9. All of the airbox tabs, the air box itself, the steel floorboards, the bumper, the stock pipe tabs, the swing arm skid plate, the heavy stock steel wheels, Headlights and headlight tabs, the steel grab bar, the steel footpegs, all the plastics and plastic mounting tabs, front brake system,.....the list is endless. Of course some of what you take off must be replaced with lighter aluminum pieces. Weight shaving is a great way to get outta the hole a hellofa lot faster. How far do you want to take it is the only limiting factor. Sand freaks usually follow this minimalist vein of the Banshee culture. You see stuff at Glamis that is little more than a frame and engine screaming up sand mountains at well over 100mph. It's sick. You also see shaved down Banshees with 300 pound riders.
  10. I recommend Charmin with aloe. Gives me a couple more wipes before I get hamburger ass.
  11. I INVENTED THE FLAME FENDER CUT, PERIOD. ANYONE WHO COPIED MY IDEA IS AN FN' THIEF............ Oh, sorry, wrong roost. Can't get over my old grudges. This thread is great. I don't smoke, but I like chicks that do! I heard the US planned on giving Fresno back to mexico. Smoking will soon be Illeagal so let smokers live it up while they can. When they ban smokes, smokers will just have to join us potheads in basements and toolsheads across America. Mr. Ed???????????? Shit is funny. Sorry Brooke. I spit Beer all over myself when I read that Keep on hatin', haters!
  12. Do you have a spacer underneath your jugs?
  13. I have a buddy that must have had that same monkey working in his.
  14. Mobil 1 fully synthetic. Works for me.
  15. Carefully go over that last mod. Re-assemble per Clymer's. If it worked before you tore into it, it should work when you put it back together. Get a 12 pack and geterdone
  16. If you clean it up after every ride, it really isn't hard to keep clean. Spray engine off with carb cleaner to get rid of fuel overflow under the carbs. Stay out of mud.
  17. A can of it costs 3 or 4 bucks. I was told it was intended for chains on farm machinery that were constantly exposed to dirt. It was designed to lubricate the chain and prevent rust while not letting dirt stick. Same chain for me since spring 03'. Sprockets look good still, too.
  18. Mine did the same thing with 34 pjs. You are just running rich. Do a plug chop. you are prolly ok on top, but at idle or just off idle you foul the hell outta the plugs. Play with the clips on the needle. That was the circut that was giving me hell. Go a little leaner and see what happens.
  19. I use dry graphite spray lube from napa. Sprays on and dries on contact. Will not fling, sand can't stick. Looks / feels like teflon.
  20. Banshees OWN the sand. There is nothing else you need to know. Well, maybe besides you can get Banshee parts all day long on the cheap. Go to your local stealership and order some 250r parts. Get ready to bend over.
  21. Right on, good info.
  22. That sucks that you have a blaster...er...never got your part from him. Crazy cat is a moderator on here. Moderators are upstanding members of the community. Everyone knows that. Duh
  23. It is an expensive hobby. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. Get into Banshees, and you will soon part with your extra cash. If you get a new/good cond. Banshee, you will spend all your dough on upgrades. If you get one in crap cond., you will spend all your dough keeping her running. The cheapest way for someone who has never owned a Banshee to get into the hobby is to buy a new 'shee and enjoy it stock and trouble free for a couple seasons. Riding a new shee once a week for a year shouldn't cost more than $500 minus fuel. Mine is moderately modded, and cost me $300 last season minus fuel to ride, but I only ride from Oct-March strictly sand.
