  1. If U r drag racing yeah dual r going to be better.. But, if U r into Trails,MX,XC and screwing around than 2-in-1 is the way to go.. And yes my builder sold me on it.... But, when I start boosting my HP up even more than I will eventually go to a dual setup...but, for now I will stick w/my 2n1.. just my 2cents
  2. Dammit, U r gonna scare someone....probably ur checkbook.. My buddy has bsacially same set-up ecept for box no lid and clip in the 3rd postion and runs same mains and air screw for now , until colder weather moves in...
  3. Yeah they should name the 4fitty "E.P.A. friendly"
  4. I would run 93 octane unless U have high compression... 160 and above should run race gas! I run klotz R-50 sync.oil in mine 40 to 1 but, that's me.. U will get a wide variety on oil from here.
  5. Heres BenBB jetting FAQ TRY THIS
  6. Mildly ported with stock pipes??? Kinda defeats the purpose......porting is to allow better air flow and the stock pipes restrict air flow. Get some pipes and you'll have a totally new machine. kind of what I was thinking....
  7. U got that right, I thought this was a country of the people....but, U know how politics are..
  8. Should be perfect.. She already has experience.. She might have to get use to the grunt of a thumper though! My buddy had 1 for about 4 yrs and no problems at all. just keep the air filter clean..
  9. yeah, well I flipped a coin and Bush won 3 out of 5 heads up....LOL
  10. Rail don't scare off another 1.. Well U r on ther best Banshee site on the net!!! 1st off buy a clymers book and read and learn and do it urself it's more rewarding... 2nd hang on for dear life. these quads aint for ur granny...LOL 3rd welcome!!!!
  11. Do U know it's the CDI??? What the prob.?? I would say if U r certain Find a buddy and take his off of his bike and try that... other than that I'm for sure there is a way to test it... try and do a search for Benbb he has a eletrical trouble shooting faq. I believe. Chris
  12. If U r going to do it right just do a complete top-end, Jetting is the biggest key to having to rebuild all the time... Don't what ur plugs look like.. I would try adjusating ur needles and air screw..... And welcome to the HQ
  13. Hope U didn't just JINX it!
  14. I run a trinity stageIV intake w/33mm keihin carb and I don't know if it's the best but, I sure do like it. Most people on here will tell U 2 go w/35mm carb. I tried the 35 but, like the 33mm better, just me though.. I run a small woods port nothing outrageous but, maybe doing a bigger port this winter during teardown and going w/35 or 38. I'm sure Scott will ave a few things to say on this thread... Later, Chris
  15. I keep blowing my head light bulbs.... New 200w stator anybody having any Ideas. I tried a search but, no luck!!!!
  16. Unless U have high compression U should run 87 or better. But, it not going to hurt ur motor by runing 92 by no means!!! U r not going to gain anything like H.P. by running higher octane fuel unless U have mods.. Don't believe everything u read in that mag.
  17. I like my K&N and I like it even better with the prefilter, so much cleaner. yeppers!
  18. Anything over +7 is strickly for drag racing if I remember correctly...
  19. I can get 100LL for $2.70 gal. @ airport LL means "LOW LEAD"
  20. I run the 33mm and love it, tried the 35mm 2 many problems"jetting". I run a small woods port /stageII. Any bigger port job, I would recommend a bigger carb like a 35 or 38.. Maybe, this winter I gonna try a differ. port job "other than trinity" and go bigger carb. But, I love my 2-n-1 carb setup over a stock set-up..
