  1. Try these guys: http://www.albaaction.com/parts/graphics-banshee.htm
  2. I like my Elkas - they're just the non-rezzies I have stock a-arms on it but I would like to get some +2+1 arms sometime
  3. There are lots of stock a-arms on Ebay that are selling cheap
  4. You can put vents in the stock box or get a Pro Design Pro-Flow filter kit and then run without the airbox cover - this will help it breath better. But if you're always in water and mud it might not be a good idea but definitely get a good filter setup because stock in a piece of shit and it will suck dirt into the engine.
  5. Did you check the vent hose on the gas cap - I had it twisted one time and it would only run for a few seconds and shut off then wait a minute and it would start again for a few more seconds.
  6. Everyone should be glad to actually see a Banshee in Dirtwheels rather then bashing it. We could probably count on one hand how many times they've tested a modded Banshee in that magizine (or any other) in the last 5 years.
  7. Probably not much more then 5hp - I doubt you'd get 10 with just pipes. Opening up your airbox and some reeds to will definitly help to after you put pipes on. Don't get me wrong the Toomey pipes (or any other brand) will make a huge difference in a Banshee and is well worth every penny.
  8. Pipes might make 10 - 15hp over stock pipes at a certain RPM and thats what they advertise but they probably only make about 5 more peak HP. So a 35hp bike will make 40hp w/pipes and not 50 like they make it sound. They don't advertise the peak gain because it don't sound as good. If stock pipes drops off at say 8000rpm and an aftermarket pipes revs to 9500 thens there's 1500rpms with a big difference in Hp while the actual peak is just slightly higher.
  9. Here this was posted a few weeks ago: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58143
  10. Definitly Sirius.........I love it. Great commercial free music channels, Howard Stern, Maxim channel, Playboy channel etc.etc. Sirius is growing faster then they ever expected it to - I heard they are having trouble making recievers fast enough to keep up. Nascar will be on Sirius next year also.
  11. I liked the Fattys I had. Everyone (that has Toomeys) bashes them just like they do with DG pipes but the Toomeys never really impressed me. When my bike was all stock (including gearing) except for DG pipes I raced (on asphalt) with a Banshee that had Toomeys, Weisco Pro-Lite pistons, reeds and 15/41 gearing in it and I pulled away for him. From what I had read about Toomeys I figured I would get my ass handed to me but I was suprised and so was the other guy. Toomey's might have nicer welds and better chrome then FMF's and DG's but don't work much better if any IMO. Actually I found the DG's pulled better on top then the Fattys did but they fit like shit - but I bought them 10 years ago so their quality might have improved since then.
  12. I think the 2 into 1 carb will probably give you more lower end power then duals. For dual carbs Keihin 35mm PWK should be big enough. Some guys like Lectron carbs - I don't know anything about them but I'm sure if you did a search on here you'd finds lots of info.
  13. I ordered the Cheetah cubs last week for a stock stroke crank and I'll be running 30mm carbs. Jim (at Passion Racing) told me it will work fine with them just I won't be getting the full potential out of the Cubs unless I went to bigger carbs (35mm). If you buy a 4mm stroker and get your cylinders ported you'll still need bigger carbs to get the full power from them. With Cubs (and stock carbs) you'll be in the 75HP range and still have good reliability.........I doubt stock ported cylinders will be as reliable and depending on who ports them maybe not as powerful either. Rockets, CPI's or Shearers would definitly be better with Cubs then your T5's but thats something you can get down the road like the bigger carbs. I'd say go with the Cubs!
  14. Check piston/cylinder clearance - if there is too much clearance you'll get piston slap amd that will break skirts off
  15. Stock is about 23cc and you'll have to run 22cc domes because 21cc puts me at about 150lbs and that would definitely be too high for 87 octane. Personally I wouldn't run 87 octane in my bike even if it was stock.
  16. I read somewhere a while ago that by spraying white heat paint (manifold paint) inside the pipes will prevent blueing. I did it when I bought my CPI's and they never blued at all - I'm not sure if it really helped or if a good chrome plated pipe just doesn't blue.
  17. FMF sells a spring kit that comes w/orings for the exhaust - your dealer should be able to get it for you. They're about $15
  18. Get it welded at a welding shop and get them to double plate it around the 4 bolt holes.
  19. They advertise that they will match anyones prices if you find it cheaper somewhere else
  20. Here's a link to Denis Kirk - they are showing some in stock http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...10802&brand=620 I've had a couple sets of these and they wear very good but they don't hook up like the IRazr's I have now. I wouldn't recommend the XC's for the front - they're very very rough but the AT's are fine.
  21. Miramichi, New Brunswick
  22. Cheetah Cubs can be a bolt on and can easily get 70hp without a stroker crank. Heres a link to a 350 Cub on making 93hp w/gas http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...0/page/1#402196

    bald tires

I did that a few years ago - I used 1 1/4" long bolts and fender washers on the inside and outside. They have to be really sharp for them to dig in. If you can get some carbide snowmobile studs they'd be better because they'd stay sharper

    bald tires

Check with a local dealer that installs them - they probably have have some old ones laying around. If your puting snowmobile type studs in your tires go with a 4 or 6 ply tire because if not they will pull through. Use big washers and really tighten them up and they won't leak much air.
  25. Check the choke tube (small black hose) that runs between carbs
