  1. Duncan Racing did sell them - I saw them in their catalogue a few years ago.
  2. Both would be an excellent pipe for what your running but most say that the Shearers are making a few more HP then the CPI's
  3. There pretty big carbs for a stock bike but would be good for a ported bike
  4. Check this out for instructions on your install: http://www.directdrivecnc.net/Instalinstructions.html
  5. The Thunder Products power jet might only have 5 or 6 settings but the other brand that Vito's and others sell has alot more adjustment (about 15)
  6. Full story on that guy: http://www.wreckedexotics.com/special/enzo/
  7. If you add the power jets you should be able to run the stock jets and make up the difference with them. Without the power jets and with pipes you should be running about 270 - 280 mains and maybe a little bigger if you remove the airbox lid
  8. If your looking for 70hp you'll probably be better off with bigger carbs - you can get 70hp running stock carbs but with porting or a cub it will be easier with bigger carbs and you'll get more power. With the dial-jets I have every 1/4 turn = 1 jet size and I think there are about 4 turns on the dial so that gives about 16 jet sizes
  9. They sell dial-a-jets on Ebay for about $20ea and Vito's sell them for $25ea. I have them on mine and they work good http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-POW...ZWDVWQQtcZphoto
  10. I have a stock stroke cub ordered and hope to have them by the end of next week and I hope I don't have this trouble - I'll be running 30mm carbs w/dial-a-jets so adjusting the mains will be easy but I don't want problems down low either. Your slides in the carbs didn't get mixed up and put in backwards by any chance did they. When my CDI went bad it would rev out but it would idle fine - try swapping CDI's with a friend if you can - maybe problem isn't card related
  11. They will run on stock carbs and make half decent #'s if jetted right...........I agree bigger carbs will give a big jump in HP. Check out these dynos running stock carbs on a 4mm cub: http://www.bansheeracing.com/cubdynos.htm
  12. What exactly is it that makes Pro-X better then Wiseco or any other brand.
  13. They sell forged pistons and a cast pistons. The forged piston a made by Wiseco (to Vito's specs). I run the forged pistons - they are a little more money but most people claim a forged piston is a little better
  14. I highly doubt you broke a ring without doing damage to the cylinder or the piston. I've ran Vito's Super Stock pistons for 4 or 5 years and had good luck with them - alot of people on here say they're no good but most of them people haven't ran them either. I've had good luck them and definitly noticed a gain in power.
  15. You can run them with 30 watt bulbs with the stock stator but in order to run any higher wattage bulbs you will need a heavier stator. You can have yours rewound or buy a new one with more output.
  16. FMF sells a packing kit.........any bike dealer should be able to order it for you. Just make sure to order the 2-stroke kit because they also make a 4-stroke packing kit.
  17. I think it was about 9oz on mine
  18. No they can't be bored out or re sleeved you have to get them re-coated. Nikosil is pretty tough - it takes a lot to mark them compared to regular cylinders. All the new dirt bikes and snowmobiles have Nikosil cylinders.
  19. I just ordered a 358 Cub from Passion Racing for trail/woods road type driving - I can't wait to get them. Your 2:1 carb set up should give you a little more bottom end. You definitly should have your crank welded and put a TZ bearing on it, a Coolhead would be good also. Call Passion and he'll tell you what you need/or should have I bet it will be hard to keep the front-end down with the -2 swingarm on a 70+HP bike you'll have
  20. You shouldn't need a 4mm/12 port engine to beat a 125
  21. I assume you checked the wheel nuts and the center hub nut to make sure they tight so the wheel bearings could be bad - check to see if it is just the hub that has play or if the whole spindle and/or a-arms are moving. If it the spindle/a-arms then the ball jonits or a-arm bushings could be the problem
