yah got it wrong. yah don't pump it in the the main tank. install a Y just before the Y to the carbs. add a little valve to turn on and off. at the spare tank. the fabbing just take some good masurements and use the stock air box mounts.as for flow just make sure that the bottem of the tank has a taper up. so the fuel flows down word. just like the stock tank
D.I.D x-ring gold chain cost yah 99.99(cheap on-line)
Sprockets I've never real heard of a bad one other then the cheap ones.
as for gearing I would keep stock. Im running fatties, reeds, sport port with 14,41 and I think it's geared just right.
Banshee 200 watt Stator Assembly with Adjustable timing plate for 185+shipping at rickystator.com
yah can pickup your new coil there aswell for $55 with caps.
if your compression is that low and your not leaking/burning coolant just replace the pistions and get it done with.
while yah got the jugs off have the check out the crank to make sure it's with in specs(probly out of specs). if it's out of spec's your going to need to go into the bottem end. thats a whole different story
I Don't know where every one comes from saying shee's handle like dirt. There's just alot of ass work to get her pointed in the right direction.. Wouldn't trade her for a 400ex or a 250r for handling if that's what your asking.
for sand riding :
1.remove the skidplate from the rear(if sand only)(free)
2.chain roller
3. get rear sandstar's or haullers(whats the fun if can can't get out of a banshee pit)(rear paddle tires are a 100% MUST in sand)
4.kinda front stearing tires(so yah don't snap your j-arms)(no fun if yah can't go anywear at all)
5.complete fatty exhaust (might as well go all the way and get some power)
6.Powdercoat newer J-arms(they'll last a while)
aren't they 6-speeds??? there a baby banshee. well if yah put a 240 on a 3mm stroker plus piped k&n yah probly get a good. 50. 240 puts out 32 they say. and a 3mill does the same thing. so i could see a good 50hp
is that with the bike just sitting there?? have you gone out and rode it? THen checked for the bubbles when yah get back to camp??
I found that with my fuel lines when i first turn on the fuel it leaves some bubbles near the Y. then after about 5-10mins on the woop road it's gone
I can only be out there for a hour. and got a half a tank give or take. So we turn around and head back to camp for fuel. when we get back i got probly 1/4 a gallon left.
In the sand my has always pulled real strong with a 14/41 gearing. The only other question is how long a swing stock? or plus something? or mines something.
