Was talking witha builder about mine. just got a set of pwk 28's 165main starting at 55 pilot working down. tell it's right. But with out the right needle in there your housed. normaly the stock needle isn't the right one for the banshee application. I'll tell yah what i need up with when i have mine dialed in all the way. -

Not to be rude. BUt it's that time of the year. I just talked with are local ship and any machine work that comes in from last fryday won't be started! tell around june first. THey all got to be ready to go down to glaims or what ever....

so my riding mower has as much power as a 400ex????? From what i under stand there around 35-37. the same as Yamaha 450

Just add stroke it to a 3mil. ANd you'll be riding some where around 30ish. It'll beat a mildiny built banshee all day., From what Fmf says.(just depends who yah ask.) says 12. ath the tiers. 18ish piped.

A friend just put a LRD Pro 4 Exhaust on his honda 400ex. before it couldn't keep up in 5th gear. now he's hanging around the i goose it in 6th. so they do add quiet a bite.

Ever hear of thw twister? It's the shops bike. It's got quiet the reputation. Passed that. He seems to know what he's doing.. Pricing isn't bad.. for a complete rebuilt cost i think 1k. for some strange reason the left side melted down. He's going to rebuild it again. for free. The guy who runs the shop isn't push. I would suggest going down and talking with him. He's located off west 11th if coming from belt line turn right. just passed the old gas station thats now a carshop. Can't miss it if your on your way to the coast.

I just had my bike rebuilt. Bike has pod K&N, .20 overbore wisco pistions,Millled head .20 ,Rebiuilt crank with hot rods ,fmf Fatties,Stock carb's 320main 30 pilot 4clip of 6(dinojet) at sea level, The bike ran Great A nice flat black all the way throught bottom and mid, and top. MY question is what would cause the leght cylinder to have a hole melt throught it? There was no sign of siezing or damage to the rings.. THe bore is just as clean as it was when the new pistions where installed.On the other had the right is perfect. no sign's of anything wrong or detiation or anything. ANy idea'??? this is after 10 gallions of gas so 10ish hours. I also had just change the plugs, and the plugs showd no signts of detiation. 30mins on the plug was a hole

Just out of wonder how does it robe power???? more drag?? More weight??? COme on explain. Logic dictats. it's cools better. For one is's like 5-10 grams lighter. as a whole mass. it also wieghts more in the fins. Which means it spinn's a little faster and keeps going with LESS load on driver gear. Things in motion tend to say in motion. Then again if im right does pro impler have a closed fin's?? which means the water it does start to move goes where it should?? Stock it can just go to the center of the impler and do nothing. Shrug WHat would i know

Wierd all i can say is that sounds lean to me. With stock carbs. K&N,Fmf fatties,.20 over wisco, I run 320jet 30main, 2.5out air screw. clip 4th from top. at sea level, 40:1 premix. And She just wants to pull like no other!

Don't forget to reconnect the choke tube between the carbs. that will do it every time -
Why Does My Banshee Smoke More Out Of One Side?

My does the same thing. Just had the whole motor rebuilt, new packing cleaned carbs. new reeds,new coil,new caps, new plugs. both idle screws the same. insync. No exuse for it. But hay it's there and it runs better then ever. so im not going to do anthing about it. Unless i fidn it burning trany oil or coolant or lean -
Checked. there in sync. and it does this at idle. Was thinking could it be the packing? The left side was burned and like a cardboard. the right side just had some oil on it.

I just rebuilt my top and bottem end. This probly was there before rebuilt the engine. When yah put your hands over the exhaust you feel the left side hit real good and hard.. Then when yah do the same to the right. Iit hits real LIGHT. almost as if theres no spark at all. There brand new plugs. I've switched the spark caps to see if that was the problem iand it stays on the right side. any idea's I was told my right carb could be bad? any way to fix it? jetting is 100% the same

None where realy hard to take off... Could i have untorqued it wrong and caused the problem?

are the high dollor torque wrenchs real worth the money? for thos of us that use it once every 1-2 years? any suggestiions on how to remove the stud. im going to go out? eas thinking to eazy out them. Second Should i just replace that one? or all of them?

I just got rebuilt the top end. easy enough. When i went to go torque down the base cylinder nuts turn it a a qaurter turn each(torque stats at 10 haven't got one that starts at 5) crisscross pattren one snap's Before it gets to 10ft-lb. COuld it be the studs are just weak and need replaced? or Torque wrench needs adjusted? Or is that im doing something wrong?

I know this is a forum for banshee stuff. I just got my gf a blaster. and want to run make sure the jetting is right. Riding at sea level in the sand temp 50-60 degress K&N airfilter with NO lid. with outer wear fmf fattys and turbine core 2 injection blockoff premix 32:1 not other modes known by past owners. I was guessing around the same as my banshee seeing it has close to same mods needle in stock(3) mains around 300 pilot 27.5 1.5 turns out

Make sure you know how loud you can be in your state here in oregon. Thats almost Illegal 93db.. Just a Thought
