How Many Hours Before Full Tank Becomes Empty Tank
Hockey390 replied to xt45's topic in General Banshee Discussion
3.762 hours unless you use the breaks more then 5 times per minute. breaking > 6x/hr = 3.841, breaking < 2x/hr = 2.568 heres the equation X = Y/Z where: x = get on your quad y = amount of gas in gallons z = amount of time riding in hours -
Just looking for V-force 2's.. I want to buy new ones, but if someone has a set on here with practically no use I may be interested
-
so....no one has a scanner?
-
When my shee was stock I road ORV trails and could last all day on a tank... that was like 5 hours, but the trails I was riding never really opened up for me to get any major speed.. not to mention that was when I first started riding so I didnt know wtf I was doing. Now the other day I was riding and used like 1/3 tank in like 20 mins.... this all serves no purpose to this post, but just thought I would add it cause all that gas use is because of mods..
-
its apprx. $4,500 US... Now we all can give proper feedback.
-
if that isnt your problem, which it sounds like it should be.. Then take your filter off or whatever you have, and see what the slide is doing, have someone rev it up or whatever you were doing to make it go haywire.. See if the slide is sticking, or if its going down all the way for that matter.. If what reas said isnt it, and your slide moves fine, then your only other option is an air leak somewhere.. my 2 cents.

so the silencer doesnt get hot enough to melt into a cooler or a gas can? I could care less if something melts, but I dont want gas pooring out by my exhaust...that wouldnt be good.

got a dilema guys, need your advice.

I in no way want to steal your topic... But I'm kinda in the same boat, so instead of having a new topic of the same nature, I will just post my problem here, if you want me to delete it I will.. .just let me know. I purchased an 87 back a few years ago.. Got a bill of sale, the VIN on the frame is basically ground down so you cant read it.. The case #'s are clearly readable. The guy I bought it from said that in 87 they didnt come with a title, so I didnt think much of it, but in today's world.. I want insurance, and I want a title. SO, as gready as this is, if my bike was stolen way back whenever, and then sold to me, I really dont want the DMV or whatever to take it away, cause I've invested a boatload, so is there anyway that I can check and see if it is Hot without going through hell? Also can I get a title made up at the secritary of state? (sp?) Again sorry if I stole the topic... i just didnt want to post a new topic with practically the SAME question.. -
Its clearly readable, I will PM it to you when I get home, I dont know where to check to see if its "valid"...

Hey, I just put on my AC Racing 6-pack rack... Looks good and all, and it fits my 2 gallon gas can almost perfectly.. BUT, I want others with 6-pack racks to post and tell me if this is normal... Notice the silencer's position and how if you put something in the rack, it either sits on, or rubs the silencers on both sides.. this could be bad if you ride a long time, because wont it MELT? Just curious to see if its because I have the Q series or if its because the rack is bunk.
-
expansion chambers?
-
so many interested but now no one is?? Need to sell this.. Taking up space i need.
-
check your PM's

Just wondering if you all think i should drop the $260 bones on brand new FMF fatties.. Think it will fix my problem?? Say my headers are both leaking exhaust and oil out, and then where they connect to the silencer there is more exhaust coming out.. If I got it all sealed up, will it run better? Is anyone running this setup? I dont really mind spending the money on it, because my im addicted...but thats not the point, the point is.. is it wasted money that I should be putting towards fuel for my next ride?

Hey all, I have old school FMF headers right now, and they are giving me troubles as far as fitting properly with my brand new Q series silencers.. just wondering if you all think i should drop the $260 bones on brand new FMF fatties.. Think it will fix my problem?? Say my headers are both leaking exhaust and oil out, and then where they connect to the silencer there is more exhaust coming out.. If I got it all sealed up, will it run better? Is anyone running this setup? I have a topic already that is talking about making them fit.. here it is, with some pics to show you how its leaking. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=29556&hl=

damn....wish you were closer.. if you were closer I would be making an attempt at getting a LOAN That bike is badass for 3g... If you drive it to Michigan border I may be interested..

I've got a 99.. 93 is A-arm model, so its the same as any 91 and up frame. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=29426&hl=
-
Thats what I was wondering... and I was also thinking will it only shoot out if the gasket is blown?
-
Ya, I'm going to see about getting some o-rings, cause I'm pretty sure they dont have any in them.. The old school fatties are more of a curve down by the engine, but the new ones are like flat, then change directions with a nice angle, so i would think the new style's are designed better to fit.. oh well..
-
Thats a damn good idea...why didnt I think of that thanks though, thats why I ask things on here.. i get good answers.. I have one side mounted perfect at the clamp, but it leaks at the engine, the other side I cant even really get it to clamp together without leaking a crapload of exhaust (which isnt good) and that side is IFY on the connection to the engine. i will do that this weekend... Supposed to get some new parts in friday
-
Probably looking at 55-70... sorry I cant get to the post office anymore this week, im working all the hours they are open.
-
The hose just slipped off... only reason was because it wasnt tight. When I got home and put it back on I went and tightened down the other clamps, and i could get about 3-4 FULL turns out of each.. which if you get out a hose clamp and make 3 or even 2 full turns, watch how much it changes.. its ALOT. But I will do that, does the coolant have to be full to do this? and should I put on a mask just in case? I will check the torque on my head as well... I havnet re-torqued it since I ran full out.
-
may sound like a complete newbie.. but, whats the muffler bearing? Jetting isnt right, havent had time to jet it.. every day I get off it rains
-
I dont get that magazine... so if anyone has it and a scanner, could they scan the article and post?

Hey, I have been stripping the paint off of my J-arms, I need someone that will either polish them, or chrome them.. That or powder coat them white. Let me know who can do what and for how much.. If I'm going to do polish or chrome, how much for J-arms and A-arms..?
