the reason i say take them off... if youve been kicking and kicking and its not started...they will be full of gas. if you remove the head you have to drain MOST of the coolant. Whenever I remove the head if its been on there and tightened down i think you have to replace the gasket.. but dont quote me.. remove that only if youve narrowed it down and cant figure it out.. I am going to stop telling you what might be wrong though, because im no pro.. Just keep what I said in mind, my shee wouldnt start with 115 PSI. I went up to the next bore, and now shee is runnin like the champ she is.

I'm not saying this HAS to be the problem... But what I am saying is that it was mine. 115-120 PSI, no fire.. rebuilt top end.. now I have 160 and it started 2nd kick. Did you take your pipes off and empty them yet?

a-arms, same as frame... J-arms, same as main plastics...swing arm, same as main plastics...sprockets/hubs, same as gas tank plastics...axle carriar black. Of course...if funds allow, chrome EVERYTHING.. That is a basic layout that seems to look best no matter what colors you use.

woah now everyone... compression of 110? sounds to me like you need a top end rebuild. Just had the EXACT same symptoms a month ago, checked everything...compression was at 110, rebuilt top end, fired right up. Plugs or jetting may not help, but you need a top end rebuild. chances are you did the same as I, didnt let it FULLY warm up before running her. "Cold Seizure"...pistons warm up faster then your sleeves, pistons heat up (get larger) sleeves are still cool...run it..kills your top end. At least thats what happend to me. BUT, if you want a 2nd oppinion go ahead, but I just had 115 PSI, went to fresh bore and now im at 160.

Autoparts stores have them... Sounds to me like you might have cold seizures (sp?) it.. i would run a compression check and see where that leaves ya. My guess is that your compression is way low and you need to go up a size on the top end. But lets see where we are after you check the compression.

When you rode her the other day, how long did you warm it up? What do your plugs look like? This may sound stupid...but is your gas on/ have fuel? Make sure its getting fuel by detaching the fuel hose right from the carb.. Try that and also answer those few Q's...then we can work from there. ***EDIT*** The way it sounds, its flooded.. If you can do it easily, pull your pipes off and empty any gas that they have in them. (do this after youve check for gas of course.. )

All of my friends have dirt bikes and blasters... SO, I'm looking for people to ride with.. GOing to be doing some trips to Silver Lake and probably hit up some ORV trails this summer up north.. If you want to join in that would be cool cause, so far... Its just me. Hoping to meet up with some of you HQer's, hopefully this will actually get some replies cause I need people to ride with!

Hey, figured this MAY be the right section..who knows. I need you guys to help me set my priorities straight with my shee.. Here is a list of things I want/need/drool... **front tires/rims (tread is gone, still stock from 87, rim is bent to shit but still work) **Turbine Core II silencers (need spark arrestors and lower dB to ride ORV/dune) **Rear ITP c-series rims with sandstar tires for the dunes **Chain slider for swingarm joint (mine is broke in half..) **Powdercoat newer J-arms (got some newer J-arms cause my ball joints are going, but I want to paint them before I put them on) ****EDIT**** ** Front bumper as well (I have none at all right now) thats pretty much it.. I have limited amounts of $$ so I'm trying to do the most important stuff first.. my visions of tight rims and crap are getting in the way of me making logical decisions.. So please do help. (give me a TIP)

isnt that the piece down by the rear sprocket? I am talking about where the swingarm connects to the frame, there are 2 rollers. One above the swingarm connection point, and one directly on it. I need the one right on it. Still on the same page? or do i need something else

I think that I read the other day that heim joints hold like 15,000 lbs and ball joints hold 2 or 3.. Dont quote me on those numbers, but I'm pretty sure thats what I saw.

anyone know where I can buy a replacement? Mine is broken in half.. Dont want to go to the stealership, hopefully I can buy 5-10 of them online for the cost I would pay over at that damn place.. Any ideas?

I have Maxxis Razr's on the rear right now, 22x11x9 And I hate my rims, plus they are bent to shit...So I was thinking of buying some new ones (with paddles on cause I need em) They are 20x11x10 I dont know too much about that number, but I know the 11 is width correct? And the 22/20 is the diameter... So my guess is that the last number 9/10 is the diameter or height of the rim?? If thats correct I answered my own question just by writing it out, but will my razrs fit onto that rim?

I want some aftermarket tires and rims.. front only Would prefer something with a cool design rim, not just standard. Rims must be aluminum and very good condition, no dents, and must be shiny! Tires must be an MX style or something of that sort, no dune or slicks

took my junk car (saturn) from 1/2 tank up to 3/4...lol...thats awesome! Too bad it wouldnt have done that with my tahoe...

OK, not sure but I will take a stab at it... SINCE I'm lower, I go up (?), SINCE I got it ported, I go up (?) So basically I need to start high(er) and see what I get from that. Maybe a 240 main 5th clip, and a 52?
