  1. I am looking for a well good priced set of fmf fatty pipes. Please PM me if you or anyone you know has a set to sell.
  2. Well I have always thought the Toomey's looked sweet, but it sounds like FMF is where I need to go. If you think otherwise please post. I mostly trail ride and hopefully will be doing dunes next year. *****If you or anyone you know has good condition FMF fatties please PM me. I will post that on the wanted section.
  3. Keep the suggestions coming... Also if you say a pipe, tell me why you think its good for what I need.
  4. Do you have a pic of the bumper? PM me price
  5. Just a note: If it was your clutch cable it would be sticking. If it is sticking you wont have much movement in the clamp at the end of the cable. Therefore you would notice it in every gear. Just pull in your clutch and watch the clamp, if it moves freely then its not your cable.
  6. Make sure both of your carbs have the idle set correctly
  7. This probably isnt your problem because you have a 2004, but this is what happend to me. After removing the carbs one of the throttle cables came slightly undone and the wire on the inside caught so my left carb was wide open.. Back fired everytime I gave it gas. Just look into the carb and see if they are both down.
  8. I have an 87 banshee that is pretty much all stock. Single K&N with modified airbox. I ride trails alot but hope to be doing dunes next season. I need some suggestions on what pipes I should be getting. I dont want to spend a whole lot, but want to get some Mid range pipes...This will probably be chaos with everyone just listing their favorite pipes, but have at it. I'm totally open to suggestions. Also give me input on buying used...And if I do, what to look out for.
  9. Now that I think about it I wish I would have gone with the GPS instead of speedometer...Never thought about that option but it would have been alot easier to install .... as for pipes, I think that will be my next mod, although I've never looked at what pipes would be best for me or even what pipes are good for what. I do trail riding in the woods, so I'm probably looking at a low-mid range pipe, high end doesnt matter much unless I'm racing a friend....but all of my friends have blasters or 250R's so I wont be needing any more top end .. My front tires are pretty much bald, and the rims are pretty dinged up... Are front tires that important for trail riding? I have been thinking about getting a set of rims and tires, but I'm not sure if they are worth spending the money on when I need pipes still... Give me some input on that please. Also what kind of oil should I use on my tranny, and how much? Its an 87 if that matters..
  10. The speedometer is just something I wish it had. I have no way to test how fast I am accelerating because I have nothing to compare to. Also top speed things like that. But besides the speed-o, what would you consider a "good" set of used pipes? I already have new needles and jets because of my K&N filter, but if I get a set of pipes do I need to changes them again to accompany the pipes? Just using an example say I get toomey t-5's....would I need new jets? What is the shiftstar?
  11. I had a post on here but didnt get a chance to check it until today. In which they have deleted it since it was on the old forum. My question was what mods would you suggest me to make on my 87 banshee. I have it running really good now and enjoy working on it so I want something to do to it. I'm not looking at spending alot of money or anything, in fact I'd prefer just making tweeks to certain areas to make it run better, faster, or anything else. If the suggestion you make requires buying items, only list them if they will require less then $100. I'm just looking for suggestions. Right now I have K&N filter, removed snorkle, just replaced the front bushings, has new chain, new sprockets, new clutch cable, fairly new Maxxis Razr's on rear..thats all I can think of, the rest is stock. This weekend I'm adding : Speedometer, shock covers, and a case saver. Please list all you can think of...
