  1. what kind of mount does it have?
  2. look on the rickystator website, he's got adjustable plates for 35 bucks. It wouldnt be much more than what a stock one would go for and its something every banshee needs
  3. you got an airleak on that piston side. It ran so hot that it was burning the oil off, thats why it looks so dry. I would check your intake between the reeds and carb and see if its got a crack in it. If it doesnt have a crack it was leaking air somewhere, chances are between the carb and intake piece, or where your reeds sit. Check everything out real well when you rebuild it and make sure you do it right. You dont need silicone or anything like that for the gaskets when you rebuild it. Get yourself some carb cleaner when you get it running and spray it around the carbs and intake and see if you have a leak anywhere.
  4. I'd keep the shee for a little while longer and let them work out all the bugs of the yfz.....its definitely a good quad though
  5. It's in good shape, its used, but still slides nice and smoothly. PM me your address and stuff and I'll pm you mine. I'll get it out to you as soon as possible
  6. the carrier and axle all one unit on the 250x's? I know they are on the 200x's. They are a bitch if the bearing comes apart, remember for future knowledge to never let them get bad, or it'll make your fun escalate 10 fold. If the outer races do get stuck in there, sometimes a good penetrating lube soak (like to use pb blaster), and using a screwdriver you can bang them out, but usually not. Take a grinder and grind down through the outer race, making sure you dont grind into the carrier. Once you get the race really thing you can start on an edge of it with a flat screwdriver and chip your way through it and it'll pop right out.
  7. my back up quad is another shee, but I've never had my quad fail on me or had any downtime really with it yet (except when those bitches at Recreation Unlimited screwed up my piston kit order for 6 weeks) But now I have a whole backup shee, which I'm gonna sell in a little while, and have another shee lined up to buy, that I'm gonna sell in a little while, and take the money I make on both and get a yfz450 for a backup What a long strange trip its gonna be.
  8. so you just need the thumb throttle cable? If so I've got one for one without TORS that I'd trade you for your setup. Let me know
  9. I'll give you 10 plus shipping
  10. It all depends what the cc class is. Boring 20 over in a 350cc class will put you over. It's not many cc's but that tiny little bit of power might make a difference, you never know. Forget who it was but they pulled apart his engine the other weekend to make sure he wasnt cheating on the GNCC circuit.
  11. Those Shearer pipes are pretty clean looking I run LRD's on my main shee, and Fatty's on the other shee.
  12. Aftermarket carbs? Possible the choke tube isnt connected? My dumbass has done that twice now.... Just a thought.....
  13. I'll take them off you, let me get back from getting a shipping price on something and then I'll paypal you the money. Pm me your paypal address
  14. man, I could putt around all day long in the woods on a nice hot day and not worry about overheating. Racing tight trails in the woods is a little bit of a different story and shee gets a little warm after a good long time, and I take her somewhere to open her up for a stretch or two....or If I'm hitting hillclimb after hillclimb on a hot day, but besides that, it never runs hot for me.
  15. yeah, its definitely amazing, basically like a shockwave going past you that just wants to rip everything apart.
  16. Dirtrider is a cheap dipstick, I'm sure he'll sell you his ass for cheap..... Sorry.....it had to be said
  17. how much you want for the silencers?
  18. does it come with wrist pin bearings and gaskets and everything?
  19. got any pictures? you can send to [email protected]
  20. yeah, no shit. I've never owned one, but have ridden many, and I'd definitely pay 10 grand to rip a road like that
  21. you cant forget we gotta cruise southstreet and scare the horses (if they're out), and then cruise to pat's and geno's, then to that cheesesteak place you talk about to compare (i'm not into pats that much so its not much of a comparison) Gotta hit up Love Park, the skatepark under I-95 after the game, and then for the hell of it we can torment the drivers on 76 Sounds like a fun day. I know where the phanatic lives, maybe I can get him to borrow my banshee to use instead of that put-put 4wheeler he likes to use. Or better yet, we could go for a rip with him when he goes on the field!!!!
  22. Pic of the day on bikepics:
  23. I'm in the same boat, picking up a shee tomorrow that has cut front fenders that I'm throwing fendered plastic on it. Still wanna hook a bracketless brother up led or fro? I'll even throw in a detailed shot of them when they are on the shee with your thanks Let me know, I'll pm you my address and paypal you some shipping
  24. no major injuries this year, just a couple beat up fingers from the fuses. Set off like 500 worth of mortars and other good stuff. Had a couple roman candle fights etc. Last year my dad got vats of epoxy that you mix. We took those thick ass industrial cardboard tubes and filled them up with gunpowder, siliconed in a fuse and cardboard on the end etc, and dropped them into the vats of silicone. Their badass, and just sitting on ground they will blow a 3-4 foot deep 5ft diameter hole in the ground. Great for getting rid of stumps and old lawnmowers as well
  25. yeah, happy bday man, hope my shee looks as badass as yours 10 yrs from now, and that I can still ride it as hard as you probably do.
