Here in southeast MO, you can get an AK at a dealer for $300-350, new romanian with american parts (must have 10 parts made here). Full auto is about $1500 and you must have all the paper work.
I want a dragonov, and a CETME to add to my collection.
Its loosing its fun. I don't like the promoter at the local track so I have been traveling to races. It was getting too expensive. I bought a mustang and am starting to play with it.
Its a very short track, it will be slick, dusty, and not much room for parking. It will be a slow schedule and they are also racing TT (just not a national TT).
D34 and I are both local to the track. We can afterwards. I won't be racing it though.

The engine is a '99 model. The original frame was bent and it is now on a straight frame. I do not have the title to the new frame, but I still have the orginal and the title for it that can go with the bike if needed.

If your crank is still good, sell it on ebay. Buy a Wiesco then you have a crank that is fully rebuildable. Their stock cranks aren't welded, but all of their strokers and longrods are including the stock stroke long rod. Perfect time for a 4mm.
GRR has some great looking pipes. A&S said that my GRR's would do fine with my CUB's, but I had a friend needing a set and my cubs aren't in yet so I sold them to him. I am getting the shearers that Dan has built for the cubs but I will also be dynoing them against the GRR's that I sold. My friend ran a 4.6 last weekend with a mild gas 350 stock swingarm and the GRR pipes, so something has to be right with them.
I have heard the track in Dyersburg has opened back up this year and is allowing ATV's to run. Any of you heard this?
I would be up for a trip to George's. I just hate to drive over 2 hours down and not be able to run. I think I remember how to get there. Is that hwy 412 from Kennett over then go through Paragould and follow the signs?
I would be scared to wheelie a car at George Ray's . If you loose control there isn't much to keep you on track.
I didn't know you could run ATV's there. Let me know also if you can. I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn Benton, MO track won't be open this year so I built my bike for asphalt for nothing. Benton is 20 minutes away and that is where I planned on running. From what I saw the time I was down at George's, he let everything else with a motor run so I don't know why he would be against ATV's.
