  2. D34 has a full set of front and rear maiers he might sell. PM him. The fronts have the removable fenders so you can go race cut or slap the fenders on if you need.
  3. I luckily have a small town banker that I can deal with easily. I fianced the entire purchase price of my RR through the bank, and talked him into letting me get credit life on the loan and have liability only insurance on the bike. $5 a month for credit life and $315 a year liability on the bike. Progressive wanted $4550 a year for me for full coverage. Thats half the price of the bike a year for full coverage!!! 23 y/o with a couple tickets. State farm is the cheapest for insurance on bikes. They just look at the CC's not the R or RR in the name. My CBR1000RR is in the same class as a 750 shadow according to them.
  4. I purchased the G3's to prove a point on another forum. My point was well proven and the V2's came out on top. G3's did nothing that DIR and his cronies claimed. 1) Advertising is one thing. Banshee HQ welcomes people and businesses to put a banner on the top of the forum. Making up a bogus login and posting an idiotic story to promote somthing that is not good enough to promote itself is another. 2) Sell a product, that's fine. Come on here and tell us about the product. Don't go on EVERY MOTHERFUCKING INTERNET FORUM and post like you are a customer. Credibility is down hill from there. If William Holgren posted as himself and told about his product and had truthful information to back up his claims, I would not have posted what I did. Lies and bullshit are no way to sell a product. 3) I already had 2 sets of the V-force 2's when I bought the G3's. I already have a set so I am not wishing.
  5. The F4i is probably just lowered geared since it isn't designed as a track bike like the GSXR is. The RR's use 8 fuel injectors like my 1000RR. 4 at the head and 4 more in the airbox that come on at higher RPM's. Head, porting, and cams are different between F4's and RR's.
  6. The new 636's look great and HP is in the high 120's, 10HP more than last year. I still like the 600RR better though. F4i's aren't that fast. I can't remember what year your GSX-R is stclark, but something is wrong if it is '02 or newer and loosing to an F4. Personally, I love my 1000RR. The liter bikes are not for everyone! Unless you have rode various sizes (and rode them hard) you don't properly realize this. It is nothing for my 1000RR to lift the front tire coming out of a turn at 90+MPH. Slightly too much throttle will break the back tire loose at 95 in turns. It will stand up at 110MPH if you pull on the throttle at the top of a hill. These bikes require more throttle and break control than a 600. Up to 100MPH, a 600 will be just as fast as a liter bike. In twisties, most riders will be faster on a 600 because they turn in faster and are easier to control. The heavy recipocating weight of the liter bikes plays a big role in cornering and turning in. 95% of liter bike riders (me included) can never ride the bike to its full potential. Most riders will never find the full potential of a 600.

  8. I have to disagree with you in this case. Don't get me wrong, I have my CCW, am an avid firearms enthusiast, am currently carrying my 9mm behind my back. However, when people are getting drunk and doped up, that is no time for them to even think about having a gun for use for protection. I am not trying to be hipocritical. I have shot many guns after a few beers. It has always been at targets, skeet, maybe a dove or two, etc. BUT to make the decision that deadly force is indeed needed and the only possible way to end the situation while intoxicated is not possible.

  10. I agree with you Pimp. I chew. Once a guy came into my work where we have NO SMOKING signs on the doors and inside. He came in with a cig in his mouth, looked at the sign and walked right on in. I had a dip in at the time and asked him to please put the cig out. He said, "well you are chewing". I said, "Tell you what. You let me spit in your face and you can blow smoke in mine". My chewing doesn't affect anyone but me.

  12. The shearers have little bottom end put pull like all hell on top. That is why they told you to advance the timing so far is for more low end. They will hit hard so be ready.

  14. From what I have heard, the V-2's are better unless you modify the V-3's. I don't know what all modifications they are doing to them though. The G3's lower your intake velocity to the point that they require the huge jets in order to pull the same amount of fuel. If the velocity is high, there is more pressure and it can pull fuel through a smaller jet. You aren't really getting more fuel through the larger jet if the velocity is low. The dudes first post on here is talking up a product? I don't think so. For some reason all I have ever heard about G3's is hype. I do have a set and they are in my trail bike. Reason being, I pulled the V-forces out of it and put them in my drag bike. If I can find another set of V-forces cheap I will pull the G3's out. The G3's DO work better than unported stock cages.
  15. PLEASE!!! The G-3's suck. Its been proven time and again. If you spend as much time designing your product as you do filling people full of your bullshit, you might be able to outperform V-force. By the way, I can comment on how the G-3's suck because I own a set.

  17. Have you unplugged the TORS box? If the switch is engaging it will kill the engine and it won't idle.

  19. At least he posted a price. I have started to hate the "for sale" ads that don't even tell you how much they are "for sale" for. Those posts get cluttered up with "what do you want for them" then "make an offer" and its just back and forth. I think the ads here should require a price, even if it ends in OBO. That is the way some other forums are and it goes so much more smoothly.

    No offense, but if you don't have much money to spend, nitrous is not for you. If you can't afford to blow a couple motors testing and tuning don't try nitrous.
  22. A friend came by one day as I was starting to mix my fuel for a ride. I kept everything pre-measured in bottles. He knew I was running alcohol, but about shit when I started mixing things in. First was Uplon lubricant for alky in 4-strokes, next was the grape scent, then a little Klotz Nitro which is nitro-propane that adds a little power. I told him they were all power adders.
