    Wallrat

I think Wallrat's avatar is better than NO avatar. Oh, so your saying you have a problem with people without an avatar???
  2. You beat me to it. My sister just showed me that auction and I logged on just to post it!!!
  3. A friend had a Tecate threewheeler that he drag raced. The front fender was cut in a flame pattern. The center came to a point and it flamed back to the sides. He cut the rear where it goes up with the same pattern. It looked trick.
  4. I have a pretty good used set of red from my 99 that was taken off in 01. If interested, PM me.
  5. I like the pic of Italy at the bottom of your page D34. WHen did you go there?
  6. As busy as Jim is right now from just word of mouth advertising, I don't think he needs a website. I think every style motor he builds is represented on this board. From the 12 port 350s to the +4's mild to wild. Jim, if you have your stickers done, please send some along with that motor.
  7. Don't let anyone think you are too big for a banshee. I race flattrack and at the end of last season, I weighed 338 lbs. I am now down to 280 and still trying to loose. The banshees feel fine to me.
  8. All I know is that my first ride on a banshee was about 3 years ago and it has been the most expensive 30 seconds of my life. I wrote a check for it and I haven't stopped writing checks for parts, engines, bikes etc. I now have 4 banshees. One for flattrack, one with a ported motor for trails, piped one for trails, and am building a drag bike.
  9. Low is not always better. If it is too low, it will slide too much. I also run the AFCO. I believe my spring rate is around 380, but I am heavy. They are nice because the ride height is quickly adjustable. Demsy, the stock shock is WAY to stiff.
  10. My passion motor saw its first race on a large oval track on saturday. This thing is pretty much AWESOME. Last year I ran a ported 350, this 4mm is totally different. When I would shift, I would instantly gain 4 bike lengths on the guy in front of me. I am running CPI's, 35 PWK's with 50 pilots and 160 main, filters on back of the carbs, and 16/39 gearing with 18" tires. This motor will lug in the corners which is great on slick tracks like it was on saturday. I can let the rpms fall way down then it pulls like a 4 stroke. I am very happy with this motor and I think you will be too when you get it lined out. Are you sure you are reving the motor out? My motor makes such great power even off the pipe, that friends that have rode it won't even hit the powerband and they are shifting. Put that thing in 3rd and just see how far it will rev. I can't wait to play with my new Passion motor. Jim is putting the final touches on it as we speak. This one will be for use in a straight lines only. I am looking at sending another set of cylinders for the 350 12 port setup. Damn Jim, do you have a punch card like the pizza buffets? Buy 5 and the 6th one is free?
  11. Here is the revenge idea I have been saving for a couple of years: My dad worked at Proctor and Gamble, the makers of diapers among other things. The super absorbant stuff in diapers is called AGM. It can soak up MANY, MANY times its own weight in water. A small pinch will quickly absorb the water in a large glass when stirred. It turns into a gel. Not really a solid gel like Jello, but each individual grain swells. They make this same basic stuff for use with potted plants to hold water in the soil, so it is available at many plant suppliers. The real AGM works best though. Anyway, I would think that 2 five gallon buckets of AGM would make a great addition to a swimming pool. That should be plenty for any pool that is 30' diameter or smaller. Our pool is 30' and contains about 28,000 gallons of water. Can you imagine getting rid of 28,000 gallons of gel?!!! That would be a major mess. The best part is it won't really soak up the water until it is stirred, such as when someone gets in and starts swimming around?
  12. D, that bike looks really familar. Where have I seen that picture before?
  13. sheebroke, mapquest says 5+ hour drive, but they send you all the way to St. Louis, then south on I-55 then over to malden. It looks to be the VERY long way. I would just shoot down to highway 60 and east to 25 and then south to Malden. The road the track is on turns off of highway 25. Hope to see you all there!
  14. I bought a set of domes from him over two weeks ago and still haven't got them. Anyone know where he lives?
  15. Got my water pump cover in. VERY high quality. One of the best polished pieces of billet I have seen. I will recommend him to anyone.
  16. I laid a crotch rocket down and when I stood up, I could see my left knee cap through the 2" hole in my skin. It was a long walk home. Broke my thumb when I hit a culvert on the banshee. My head had two LARGE gashes (about 5" long) on the top. My forehead was swelled out about an inch. My face and hair was covered in blood. The skin was rubbed off the back of my hands. I looked rough. I walked into the emergency room and everyone moved out of my way. The woman behind the glass looked at me and without emotion said, "Can I help you?" The smartass I am said, "Yeah, I'll have a cheeseburger and fries." That is the wrong thing to say! Now the doctors thought I had major head trauma because they thought I was seriously thinking I was at McDonalds. I don't really remember anything about the wreck. I just know it was about 9:30 when I left my house and at about 10:30, I woke up laying in my bathtub. Somehow I managed to get the banshee home, shut the shop door, and get in the house. Just like Cotton eyed Joe, I have had lower back pain for years. It has not hurt since the wreck.
  17. Coils have primary and secondary windings. To check the primaries, you will go from post to post. This can give you a good reading, even though the secondaries are bad. To test them, go from one plug wire to a post. I had this happen on a 300ex. Exactly as blk02 said, we changed parts because testing across the primary winding showed a good reading so we thought the coil was good. Come to find out, it had shorted out.
  18. I recieved my parts. The polish job on the clutch cover is very good. The parts seem to be good quality. The customer service seems to suck though. It only took three weeks longer than we were orginally told.
  19. Roost boost . I lost count of how many older Mojave's i've seen with it. I have a roost boost for something laying in my shop floor.
  20. Have a set of SST's some Pro circuits FMF's that need painted and some T5's and am needing some out of frame drag pipes.
  21. i'm all for riding at St. joe. What do you say D34? There is a 400 trinity that runs very strong that is up there almost every saturday. Someone needs to outrun him. it will be a couple of months before i will be able to give him a run.
  22. 30 minutes north of D34!
  23. Damn, it ain't polished. Thats the way my luck always goes .
  24. I'll trade my set of T-5's for that 440 'cuda? Interested? I'll even throw in a good used boost bottle.
  25. I am looking for a blue banshee tank cover and radiator cover (me and everyone else). Does anyone want to part with theirs? Also, I need a frame for a Suzuki DR350 dirtbike. I can't seem to find one. Does anyone have one or know a good salvage yard to call?
