  1. I've got maier regular style plastics and the gas tank cover and radiator cover fits horribly!!!
  2. Dude JUMP ON THAT!!!!! Depending on your district or what ever id say that would be a great MXer. It's got a shitload in suspension which will put it quite a bit above par with your EX. If you do buy it i'd invest in some PTR mids or a dynoport 2-1 pipe and definitely a trinity 2-1 35 mm carb.
  3. Ummmmm what is this the 1000th End of blaster/banshee post??
  4. I'd go through it and make sure nothign is grounding out or no wires are disconnected first. Then replace the stator.
  5. You say its been a good 2-3 months since you last rode. Let me tell ya it's going to take a lot more riding then that to get good enough to do a backflip. You have goals and i can respect that but saying your gonna do all this but not even riding for 2-3 months sounds kinda sketchy to me.
  6. 15 inches is a small storm around here We're getting dumped on as i type this up!!
  7. I've got a Graydon Proline swaybar and it seems to be adjustable to some point. They may just make them for +2+1 setups also. I'd call around and ask some dealers who deal them.
  8. Pour some gas down a few mouse holes and light the fuckers on fire
  9. Ok i have 2:1 trinity intake w/ 35 mm Carb, dynoport 2:1 pipe, v-force reeds, and K&N airfilter with proflow and snorkel removed, and the intakes have been ported. Could anyone give me a ballpark figure what jetting i will need? I can fine tune it but i just have no clue.
  10. When you shift dont even let off the throttle, just hold it open, clutch and shift. Banshees power bands are in the upper RPMs so you just gotta keep the engine reved.
  11. The local Yamaha dealer has a 98 banshee for sale. It has an aftermarket axle, round house -2 swinger, Dynoport pipes, some sort of aftermarket dual carbs, and a few other goodies. I have a sled that ive been trying to sell for 1500 and i think my banshee is worth around 1500 also. They are askin 2700 for the 98. Anyone think that this would be a good trade?
  12. Call me sick but it actually sounds kinda funny. I would never shoot a rabit though unless i was gonna have it for dinner.
  13. You check your plugs?? I know when ever i got water in my sleds intake teh damn plugs would foul out and id have to get new ones.
  14. It sux up here in the TugHill Region also. We have probably had a max of 6-8 inches chrismas eve and that was the most so far. Then after that it all melted, making everything real slushy and shitty. Now we just got an other 5 inches and its allready 35 out melting it away. Most people around here can drive well, its just sometimes we get Canadians coming through who drive too damn slow
  15. You seem to have a good set up. I'd definitely get a -2 swinger. I have one and it not only helped with traction but it corners and jumps much better. Just as important as mods are preparation is very important also. Make sure everything is greased and lubed up, make sure your filter is clean, spray wd40 on the rims and other parts you dont want mud or sand sticking too. Its all the little things that will help. Always bring lots of tools to the track to, you never know what you'll need. And drink lots of water to stay hydrated. A lotta common sence stuff but its good to know. Good luck!!
  16. Ok now i have a guy who is willing to buy brand new 8 inch douglas rims for the beadlocks. These are in real good shape and just need to be cleaned up. Anyone think this is a good idea or should i just put them up on ebay?
  17. TRUE THAT!!!! We're old enough to defend the country but not old enough to have a beer!!! You'd think that when soldiers get back from war they would like a nice cold beer but cant because they aint 21!! thats some bull shit. Marijuana should be legal too.
  18. I have had gone through a tank in about an hour and a half, of practicing on the track. Trail riding i can get a few hours out of er. Depends on how much your on it.
  19. Thing is they came with the banshee and i dont know what the heck to do with them. They are in perfect shape and have only been used for flat track. Thanks for the replies.
  20. Dual Carbs Stock Banshee Carbs just suck ass. I wish i could help you but everything i could think of has been said lol.
  21. I've got a pair of Champion 10 inch bead lock rims for the shee. They have rotten hoosiers on them right now but im thinking of getting a set of holeshot MX rears for them. I was wonderign if this would be a good idea or if i should just put them for sale and get a pair of 8 inch beadlocks?? anyone have experience with 10 inchers racing mx?
  22. Sounds like the same problem i had a while back. Might wanna make sure your carbs slides are in sync. And make sure the needles are setting right and that might do the trick.
  23. I have the same problem, but for me its a little more complicated. The clutch baskets wear out after a while and they get grooves in them. When this happens the plates get caught in these grooves so they don't disengage right. Idk if this is your problem but if it aint the oil, it's probably that.
