For the holeshot just hold it wide open and clutch and shift without lifting on the gas. Leave it in 3rd or 4th using the clutch to pick up rpms and shift when when you think you need to.

I have a 92 fourtrax 300 4x4. My dick friend fliped and and bent the a-arms and hasnt fixed them. I was looking at microfiche diagrams online and noticed taht parts from 92 to 99 look the same but 99 parts are cheaper. So i was just wondering if the parts on the 99s are the smae as the parts from the 92s so i can get a better deal on the parts??

I dont care even if its not modern its still better stock then all the other quads, except maybe the YFZ450 and the 450R. The raptors are neither as powerful and i personnally dont think the even handle that great, and they are top heavy and not comfortable to sit on. the predator is poorly engineered, and the ds and kfx700 are heavy pieces of shit. THis would be my Sand shreddder rating 1 YFZ450 2 Banshee 3 450R 4 Predator 5 Raptor 6 DS650 7 V-force 700 I'd rate the Banshee 1 but ive ridden a stock one before and they dont have near as much power as teh YFZ. I'd have to say i like mine better for sand though then the YFZ.

Yea most magazine articles are written by pussies nowadays. They all bitch and moan if something doesnt have electric start or pussy features. My friend has a YFZ and what happens when his battery dies which happens very easily??? you have to push start it and to me tahts harder then kick starting it. And if you had a bad battery on that pos KFX700 youd be screwed because its automatic. I dont see how they say the banshee isnt comfortable. Besides the YFZ its the lowest sitting quad out there and it still has a good amount of padding on the seat!!!! Every new pos ive ridden has an extremely stiff seat. Bottom line is magazines suck.

Get her a Scrambler 500 4x4. They are fast enough for your wife, my friend has one and he keeps up with me real well in the woods. It also is no slouch on wide roads either he can keep up with me when im cruisin pretty fast. Plus having 4 wheel drive you can ripp thruogh mud with it real well which is a plus and you can go through snow really well too. If you dont want 4x4 and want something faster for her get the 400 sport/scrambler. You can get up to 65 horsepower out of that sport 400 and get it to beat a stock banshee. If you do decide to get one check out www.hotseatperformance.com they have a ton of shit for Polaris quads and sleds. I dont know how fast of a wife you have but i think your best bet is to just teach her to ride and like manual shift quads. Then get her a Raptor or a 400EX or soemthing.

Simple green is all right but i use to use Castrol Super clean which i thought worked a lot better. THe only thing is now i cant find it and the only superclean in stores is tire shit.

Ride the hell out of them and get use to them being stiff and it will gradually get softer. I feel like im wearin nikes when i wear my boots now after being use to em. I think all the mud and water and stuff helps loosen them up a lot too.

Lots of 4x4s have comfy seats, especially the Polaris 4x4s.

A raptor would be real good. I'm also thinking a 400ex. They arent the fastest machines but they are very reliable, and easy to ride.

I've seen a guy with a turbo in dirtwheels. I also saw a Blaster with one from a dodge caravan. I dont know if it would make it all that reliable though

Call me a slow learner but i've done that about 5 times so far. Every time it bent the left side J-arm. I've bent it back and got new ones many times now. It also debeaded the tires everytime i did this. it really sux not having good rear brakes either because it would be nice when it goes up like that to save myself. But i dont have back brakes. Just like you guys say though it happens the same way, you wheelie hard and it goes to the side and may go upside down and around. But the end result always sux.!!!

Your compression is low. You need to get new rings and possibly get a new piston and bore it out, one oversize. I could be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me. It should have a bit more being brand new. Does she even put oil in it? those are oil injected and should be topped off every tank of gas. Also the Carb mighta been gummed up, or maybe the air filter wasnt on right. I'd definitely pull the head and cylinder and make sure nothing is messed up.

It was on pavement and the Banshee rider was the better rider. I know a good rider would beat the stock banshee but I just thought it was pretty good that the Banshee won.

That freakin sux i would beat the shit out of who ever did that, granted i could figure out who they are. I hate theives with a passion, a guy i knew from the local races had his dirtbike stolen recently.

My friends bro just bought a brand new YFZ450. He himself owns a 2004 stock banshee besides a boost bottle. They raced down the road and my friend with the STOCK BANSHEE won!! Take that YFZ450 lol
