I have a large craftsmen tool box and mostly craftsmen tools, also i have a nice 1/2" drive husky socket set. I love craftsmen tools they have a life time warranty on their tools and i havent ever even broken one, except for a screw driver taht i snapped the tip off from prying. I dont really like the tool box though because i use to have a barn with a wooden floor and teh vibrations from sleds and quads caused the nuts to come loose on teh wheels and they would come off on me. and plus the lower door always comes off.

May be getting ride of the shee?!?!
Wassup350 replied to limitied03's topic in General Banshee Discussion
You definitely will be happy with it. I want one real bad but cant afford one and really dont want to sell the banshee. Plus i like having an oldschool 87, and still be able to beat brand new shit in motocross racing. -
Just go to mcdonalds and say you want 500k for parkplace lol.

LMFAO WHAT COUNTRY ARE YOU FROM, ???nice english. Get some pipes on er and an air filter and learn how to powershift and race him on the road and you will have a better chance of beating him. If your on dirt try keeping your weight back more off take off and dont immediately gun the throttle or youll just spin too much or wheelie.

Sweeeet. Ive heard so many good things about them. I love my bills but they are old school and wont fit in an A-arm frame which is what im lookin into. SO im pretty sure im gonna buy the Paul Turners. Now i just have to hope that i can get my sled sold soon lol. BTW how much is ceramic coating and where could i possibly get it done?? I've seen it on Banshee370s hotrod and it looks pretty good. Also if i were to get just the pipes do you think that my bills silencers would fit?? The silencers have a female coupler. im sure i could probably have someone weld something up so it fits. I cant see spending more money on silencers when the ones i have are fine.

Just wondering what the majority of you MXers run agh it didnt work right nvm im a moron

This decission has been tearing at me and im wondering what i should get. I currently run some oldschool bills pipes. They work great and all but im gonna get a new frame this winter so i can run a-arms and they wont fit. I know that the 2:1 pipes give great low end but im wondering if they will lose all that top end that banshees are awesome for. Currently i have pretty good bottom end power with awesome midrange and i like being able to pull away from people on the straits with ease. I have heard so many good things about the pt mids and i think i might get them.

My buddy has one. Its got ok power. It handles nice but the seat is very uncomfortable, and you sit too high, and the chain rollers sound like they are gonna blow up, and its not put together real well. TOo damn heavy also.

I love those things, so much i did it 3 more times.

Definitely what loco said. Blasters could be made into potent motocrossers. that seems to be the biggest problem witht them is that they are so short and narrow that they tip really easy. They are also way too small for guys around 6 feet. I'd also get it ported and have the head milled and some V-force reeds really wake up the blasters I dont know what kinda racing your into but i think any atva race requires that you have nerfbars and a teather switch so unless you get them it will be everythign but race ready. Also get an aftermarket air filter system to protect that engine. If you're on tight budget check your wheels to see how much they are offset. you could probably flip them around and get quite a bit of width depending on your offset. Just make sure the valvestem dont hit the calipers on the front. Also keep in mind that doing this will make the rims easier to bend so just think about it before you do this. There is so many things you can improve on the blaster so just you pick from our suggestions what you think you need first. Best way to find out is find stuff you dont like about it. Dont just start buying stuff because we suggested it find out what you want to improve and improve it.

stupid ass people at the dunes
Wassup350 replied to dmcman2003's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I dont care about the guy who hit the kid, but i think that kid deserved it. Who the hell is stupid enough to stand in the way of a hauling ass Banshee. Even if the guy on the quad didnt think he was gonna move out of the way in time, who is to say that the stupid fucker wouldnt get hit anyways? Banshees going 70 dont exactly stop on a dime. I think that kid got what was coming to him. -
I've been runnin kevlar for a few months now and they take a ton of beating before they wear out. Plus the stock basket has worn out and i just filed the fingers down to get the little grooves out and it makes it much easier to clutch and shift. Anyone who is replacing their plates should check out the fingers on the basket because as ive found if there are grooves in them the centripital force will cause the plates to get stuck in the grooves and it wont release as well and it will tend to roll if you have it in gear and have the clutch in. For those of you with money to spare just get a hinson clutch basket.

for long travel suspension its gonna be over 2 grand. Ive seen long travel a-arms from lonestar for around 900. Plus you need to get some good shocks which can get as expensive as 800 i beleive.

I just ran my 4th motocross race today and placed 2nd in both motos outta 8. It was my first trophy ever!! The only one who beat me was a kid on a YFZ who has been racing since he was little and ive only had 4 races of experience. I just think ive really shown them what banshees are all about. Who says a 17 year old fourwheeler cant compete with brand new YFZ 4strokes??? I showed them fools!!! peace out.

Hmmm ever try just going to a dealer and ordering it?Bike Bandit Sells OEM Parts that you could get also.
-
Damn thats good that your ok. It makes me sad just lookin at your banshee. That thing looked like a nice 89. Well as long as your engine is still good i guess thats a plus.

how would you know if your shee is heating
Wassup350 replied to xt45's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm laughin my ass off after that post. That is a really good way to figure it out though. Gotta make sure that the engine done heat really high. XT45 you should try that thats the best way to find out, really hold your hand there too for at least a minute for more accuracy. -
This brings up a funny little story. In highschool a friend of mine asked me if i seen snatch (the movie.) then this kid was like ive seen one. Then just at the right time my Tech drawing instructor said "Hey pornos dont count." Dont know if thats all that funny to you guys but it was funny at the time.

My Buddy has an 03 Silverado turbo diesel 2500 series. That thing hauls ass. He put the super chip programd on it and it put out an extra 100 horsepower bumping it to 400 Thats pretty good for a diesel. Also the new super duties with the V-10s are putting out 362 horse at 4500 rpms. Imagine hoppin up that engine. It wouldnt beat the lightning but i myself like big trucks.

I hear getting a room works pretty well when you wanna bang a chick. Or just Bang er in your buddies ride or something. My friend has never banged his chick in his own car but always took his moms car
-
Screw taht Suzuki sux its not worth all the headaches of repairing the thing. I'd get a 250R and put a Honda CR500 Engine in it, if i ever wanted a 500. Or like Loco did and put the 500 in a banshee frame.
-
Well it was a few weeks ago when me and my buddy were racing MX at motomasters, when we decided to flip the tires on his YFZ. I had allready tried this on the banshee and it doesnt work due to the valve stems hitting the calipers. Well we did this on his and they barely hit till we took the valve stems off and it cleared by about an 1/8. He gained an extra 5 inches from doing this!!! So if your lookin for more stability for your YFZ id try this, just make sure you stiffen your shocks up a little.

Wow for some reason i found the ridiculously funny and can't stop laughing.
