  1. Saying rap kills people is like saying guns people, and if guns kill people then i can blame misspelled words on my pen and typos on the keyboard.
  2. He will beat you on dirt till you get a -2" swinger I've had one on both my banshees and it helps hook up so good, i always pull out of the hole strong.
  3. The Arctic-Cat Thundercats use to put out like 182 horse or somewheres around there stock. So i guess i could beleive that a twin 1000cc sled could do that with the right tuning.
  4. Propegs rock
  5. You ought to get some maxxis razors, they are 6 ply so they last pretty long, and hook up good in a variety of terrain. If the kinda ridnig your doing involves more mud then get some razor 2s but i dont think you need taht aggressive of a tire the razors will probably be good enough.
  6. That dude didnt even hold the wheelie he wrecked so this post is pointless. If you hit a hill or something its easy to do 6th gear wheelies, my buddy did it with his 04 stocker shee.
  7. I think either the banshee or the DS would be great. I would pick the banshee if you are in to riding hard and hitting moguls and jumps since it is so much lighter. But the DS is a great trail machine and has tons of suspension travel stock, and also has good power. See if you can test drive both and see what you like, its all about what suits your needs.
  8. I've got 3 friends who i ride with, 1 has a YFZ, 1 has a 450R, and the other has a Predator. I think the Preddy is better then the 450R, and the YFZ is better then both. The 450R's biggest downfall is kick start. And its geared so damn high that it stalls real easy in tight woods conditions making it a pain in the ass!!!. Yam all the way
  9. Tell me about it, one of my friends dont even care anymoer and wont fix his quadsport, the other one does nothing but waste time with his gf, and the other one sold it so he could buy a friggan honda accord.
  10. I think they are made of wood rapped in shiney tape. So they break all the time but they are cheaply replaced with a new axle
  11. It depends on what type of riding you do. If you MX i recomend neither because they are 6 ply and are pretty damn heavy. I had the Razors on my 87 and they hooked up well but didnt corner and powerslide that well. They were pretty good in the mud though. I have the titan fast trekers on my new Shee and i love them, they are great in snow and have a pretty low profile. I also use to have turf tamers which were awesome for everything except for mud.
  12. My buddy bought an 03 Predator for 4500, you shoulda got a better deal on that. But i guess living in CA aint gonna help much as everything is expensive over there.
  13. Find a ditch somewhere and back up to it Always helps when the height of the bed is a little closer to the ground.
  14. I agree, my reasoning is this, if your gonna use silicon instead, what do you think is gonna happen when you tighten down your jugs? The silicon would probably ooze out and get into your water passages causing your coolent to flow less freely. Plus there is no guarantee that it aint gonna leak. You could just have a custom gasket made that is thinner then stock.
  15. Try your local paintshops, either they will be able to do it or know where it can be done.
  16. I race motocross my self and my first mods would be this. 1. Better front shocks, and possibly revalve rear one. 2. Pipes (need em to wake the motor up) I'd get the PTR mids or Dynoport 2:1 or FMF fatties. 3. Some better handle bars and better clutch lever. (MSR levers pull very easily and helps a lot to have an easy clutch pull. 4. Get it so your throttle pulls easier, (2into1 carbs are pricey but worth it.) 5. Better tires. 6. Wider a-arms and axle. and of course the necessities such as nerfs, tether switch, and safety gear. I would say get wider a-arms and axle first but if you have a budget problem then thats a bad route. The best way to figure out what you need is to start racing, and change shit that you would like to improve on it.
  17. I say the raptor for XC because its got better ground clearance and has a lot of low end. If you can afford it get the YFZ though.
  18. It's gonna take a hell of a lot of engine for a dirt bike or quad to beat a crotch rocket.
  19. Man i am completely with you on that one!!!! Ricers suck. My 2 friends are so god damn stupid, and they dont like anything but jap vehicles even trucks!!! They say that there is no point in having a truck as big as american companies make them blablablabla. And go about the bull shit about them being so reliable. Every Jap car ive been in feels like a tin can!!!! on a side note an other thing i like about this new vette is that the engines are hand assembled. If i had the money id get one.
  20. What is more amazing isnt the horsepower but the weight. They based it on an aluminum frame and it only weighs 3100 pounds!!!! Thats less then some 4 bangers.
  21. I just traded mine in for a newer banshee and the dealer let me swap out all the parts from mine to the newer one. Too bad you aint tradin it for a newer banshee. You would definitely be better off swappin the parts out though. They will probably just give you the blue book value or a just a little more then the bb value even with all your aftermarket stuff on it.
  22. Where there is a will there is away, i rode mine today and it was a high of 10 farenheight. And as for snow well just get a hold of a tractor and make a track, i did. The devoted rider dont let little things like snow and the cold keep him from riding, he uses those things to his advantage.
  23. ask Banchetta about em if he still even checks in at all. He swears by them though. All ive heard is good things about them. My opinion is that the fatties are a good pipe, but the paul turners are a great pipe so there you have it.
  24. If you want to replace them with the same stickers i think you can order them from Ronnies or Bike Bandit Just go to fenders and i think they have the same decals for what ever year you have.
